Has anyone thought how they are getting all that soap & shampoo back from cruise?

No lists yet just keep filling my spare closet and thinking noooo way am I getting all this stuff to CA.

Got our DOC'S yesterday!

We would have received them on Friday but I was at work and Johnna was at a basketball game with my oldest DD. We were quite sad the entire weekend.

Got 80% of packing done!

Hope everyone else is doing well in that department.

We deal with a tornado but at least we have warning. A hurricane you get several days warnings and time to evacuate . Earthquakes I would be freaking too!!

I would be the one freaking out on all three.

I am putting them in the Towels and Pillows.

Hmmm now I have to make room for Towels & Pillows ? I still need room to bring the waitstaff with me.



Forgot to mention............I quit my job so nobody mention it on the ship o.k I will worry about finding another one when I get back. I feel FREE !!

Do the quakes just happen at any time or are there "seasons" for them?

I don't think this is a blonde moment. IMHO, it does seem that when it gets hotter, we have more earthquake activity. But, I'm not sure if that is statistically supported.

Love this idea as it deals with one of DDs requirements as UK badges are somewhat different to your American ones

I was reading the Disneyland boards and the Disneyland hotel was evacuated, they had some concerns. GCH is fine as recently built, but they are checking out the DLH, hope its ok for me in a few weeks.

DLH has survived worse. It's very unlikely that this is anything other than being extra cautious.

Earthquakes are the result of two sections of the earth's crust slipping slightly in relationship to each other -- land that is on top of or near "faults" (where two plates are in conjunction) has more seismic activity. The stress builds up between the two slowly moving plates and eventually is relieved when they slip. Therefore there is no real season for them and no true way to predict when one will happen, other than general statements about there being a lot of pent-up pressure over time in certain areas. I would guess that there is less likelihood of our experiencing a quake on that same fault when we are there since some pressure is being relieved now (although rarely something like this means they will slip more soon), but there could be activity from a different fault. It's really just so beyond everyone's control that it's not worth worrying about!

Looks like it wasn't too bad. DL is inspecting all the rides and intends to reopen quickly.

Does anyone know of some ideas for door Magnets ? I don't know how to add names or such I just know how to save and print. I was going to ask Kristine on the main board but I don't think she has been doing any since back from vacation. TIA

No matter what you do don't let your 3 yo be in the bathroom when you flush the toilet. It will make him revert to the diapers. LOL!

That's extraordinarily wise. Training on the ships toilets would be awful. Could you imagine the kid going through the rest of his life unable to use a toilet that doesn't make a huge roaring sucking sound when it flushes?

It's funny you should think of this... We have been practicing the "Mickey Boat Flush" from time to time so he's not scared. Ask him and he says:

WOOOSSSSHHHHHH

I'm looking forward to his face when he really hears it!

I think so -- It's H2O and smells like the cruise to me! It's fun to break it out later at home and the smell really brings the cruise experience back . . .

I think so and it's a great reminder of toal. The products they use are H20 spa. You can google to get more info. The lotion is fantastic !!! I have a disney bathroom and I like to put some in the guest bedroom for company to use. I just can't imagine how heavy 15 days worth will be.
