i need to figure out this verizon thing! is it easy to figure out on their website? if we do this are we able to make calls back home? or is it a special package you have to buy?

That's funny. Just tonight I was trying to think of a teenager to help me figure out how to get my new Mamma Mia CD on my IPhone. I swear I am the only person who has an Ipod and 2 Iphones and .......no music on any of them.

I'm all for that! At the recent pace that should be no problem.

Or we could just name the next thread #14. I know a lot of office towers don't have a 13th floor (either that or the button disappeared from the elevator panel).

Which is apparently very accurate. Works formy sister's DD, my SIL's boy and girl and many of my SIL's friends! But is wrong for my DD....

That is too freaky! It is right for both DD and DS. Of course, after I felt sure the second kid was going to be a girl DH was worried that I would be depressed if we had a boy due to the family curse [only one girl per generation for 4-5 generations and there was already one girl]. He said that I could get an US and find out but don't tell him. AS IF! I would either be crying or giddy. Come on! Anyhow, DD wouldn't cooperate and my OB did a ton of USs to try to find out. Someone at the office I worked at before DS had me sit down and did the needle and thread thing. This was weird but was right for both kids. When I tried it at home not having any idea what I could have done to make the darn needle turn a certain way it did the same thing. The only problem with this is that it said that I would have a boy, girl then boy and then stopped moving completely. I have to be very careful not to complete that predition!!!

Regarding pictures, we haven't been on a PC cruise before but on a 7 day cruise we average 2000 pictures easy...sometimes more. I am taking six 1-2 GB SD cards. Both of our cameras take video too so we don't want to run out. I will have the laptop for us too.

So we met Captain Tony twice in Key West. On our honeymoon (1993) we just met him. When we went back from our 5 year anniversary we hung out with him. I can only find the honeymoon picture in 2 minutes or less...

I've been looking at that camera for awhile now, but I hate the fact that it takes XD cards. I prefer using SD cards as they are easier to find. Also, in bright sun, it is so helpful to have a viewfinder as well as the screen. So, I'm still looking. I guess I wish Canon made a waterproof one. Perhaps they do, but I haven't found it yet.

Really? XD is pretty much everywhere around here- SD would be hard to find though. LOL

I got a very dark line on my stomach with ds, but nothing with dd. My OB/GYN had same "theory" as yours.

We worked on the door magnets tonight. DH got out the Mac notebook and brought up the images I have been saving for months. The good news is we have the professional version of Photo Shop but the bad news is we have no idea how to use it. Fortunately DH is very good at figuring out things, especially anything computer related so it looks like we are going to be ok.

On the FE topic. I bought mine a couple of months ago and my parents were not participating. When I was at their house one day, watching the girls swim I went through their catalogs. I found a great FE gift so I talked them into buying and participating but they are too embarrassed about what I picked so I am trading FE gifts with them. Y'all "know" me so I am not too embarrassed but they are not sure what people will think of them w/ giving out this gift. Have you worried now don't I?

Brush with fame - have a friend who was on the Sopranos for 4 years and did some Law & Order episodes too. He was also in American Gangster with Denzel Washington and Russel Crowe. DH catered for some famous names when he was catering one was Bon Jovi and family. We have run into Geraldo Rivera at restaurants near where he lives. Met some Food Network starts at national food shows, DH is in the food industry if you couldn't tell. When I was with a local travel agency I worked with David Bryan's (Bon Jovi) mom.

Yup, August 2006. His wife was basically sitting in my father's lap during I think it was the Welcome Aboard show. Well, needless to say, my poor daddy ended up getting called up on stage to be part of the show with the juggler, holding a cigarette in his mouth. My father was not happy, to say the least.

All this talk about cell phones...there is noone we need to get a phone call from on the ship so it will be turned off and packed in the safe while we are onboard. We will be using it in CA to catch up with some friends in DL but that is it. The standard rule for us is don't tell us if something happens because there is nothing we can do about it on the ship. We aren't rushing home for anything so just leave a message on our answering machine at home and we will get in touch with you after we get home.

Mine was wrong on 2.... mine all said male and ofcourse I had 2 daughters and only one son. LOL

tomorrow is my birthday which means end of July which means then after that only 11 days.... on the 11th day after that we're gonna be on our way to the TOAL!
I can't wait- but at the same time I'm already sad that it's gonna be over all that much sooner... once it starts. LOL

Hey everyone, I am slowly checking things off my to do list. Today my to do list included calling Verizon for our cell phones and calling Chase and Citibank for our credit cards.

I know someone has listed Verizon rates already but you MUST call verizon to have them turn on the free international roaming service on your account. You must then activate it on your phone before you leave. Its easy and takes all of about a minute to get it done

Also, called the credit card companies today as well. Just FYI - both Chase & Citibank have a 3% international charge fees for any purchases made outside the United States. DH and I are talking about just bring travelers checks to avoid that cost. Anyways, thought I would pass along the info for my fellow
