With this cruise it seems they might as well open it to the whole ship. There will be what - a dozen non cc members onboard?



90 day mark. I do have some forms, but they seem to relate mostly to transfers and air.
For example: There's a "vacation itinerary" page that includes flights & transfers. Then pages with the flight and resort info (pre-stay). So my guess is that it's the flight & pre-stay that triggered the vacation and sailing itinerary in my case.

In 2005 they had there little signs up saying CC Party, but basically anyone could get in you didnt need your invite, I agree, open it up to all.

No...I have to transfer the stuff from the boxes into suitcases....it was just a way of starting to collect stuff in my house...I have things in there from extra plastic hangers to FE gifts to shampoo etc....it started out looking pretty neat and has just gone insane

Gosh I feel like such a snitch! Anyway, got some bad news for some of you. It seems that our resident live-in-celebrity will not be joining our group on the crossing. Seems Disney did the demographics and the common age is tweeners.

So, they did not "ask" our resident celebrity to join us. Instead, they will be kicking him off come tomorrow. That just sounds so weird. They did announce who would be on here right? Ally & A.J.

The kids will be happy to hear that! They aren't too bad. Actually, I wouldn't mind HM at all. Most of her songs have a good message and the others are just fun for the kids to dance around too. We watched the concert last night on Disney...both times.

I had no clue either so asked DD and her BFF that slept over.

When I said they may be on our cruise, DD sarcastically says, "great", and her BFF says, "Well, they are not extremely, excruciatingly bad".

Open Itunes
Insert the disk into the computer
Itunes will ask if you want to import it- yes
It will import it into itunes
What you will need to do is make a playlist for it
Go to File- new playlist- then label that playlist
Go into your music (it won't recognize it a an audiobook)
You can highlight the first one and then hold down ctrl and click the last one and it will highlight all in the section.
While highlighted right click and go to Add to playlist and select that playlist
Make sure that when you hook you ipod to the computer that the playlist is checked to upload into your ipod
When your ipod is attached to the computer, go to the music tab and check that playlist and click apply(at the bottom right of the screen)

That's it.
You will need to do this to every disk or import all the disks first then add them to the playlist by the highlight and add directions
Have fun.

Just to add: We do this for books also, just make sure the playlist you create is in the correct sequence of book chapters. iTunes likes to logically order things, which sometimes isn't how the track titles actually appear on the CD.

We have no kids,so I have no idea who they are. Never seen HSM,don't watch Disney Channel much. Guess I'm outta the loop.

I've got the kid (DS13) but I still am outta the loop - he's really not into that stuff. He does watch Disney Channel once in a while but he didn't know who those two girls were either.

I would much rather of seen Joey Fatone, even though I was never a boy band follower he at least is someone I've heard of

Did you do it recently or at the 90 day mark? It seems to be the reason, My ticket booklet doesn't have much in it, and doesn't have the times and port schedule.

I don't know if this is the case, but I have seen it with a number of clients so I'll through it out. I didn't complete my documents until the 90th day. If you completed the documents after the booklets were printed (about 30 days out), they won't know you completed the documents. Also, if you thought you completed the documents, but they aren't totally complete, it will print out everything. I have clients that don't authorize payment for the children and then they can't print out the contract. If that's the case, the documents (while you think they are complete) are not complete. You have to authorize everyone one way or another for payment and then limit them once onboard.

Other than these possibilities, no clue why some got it and some didn't.

Honestly, I"m not sure. We suspect that it may have started in Rocking Bar D, but it definitely started with Megan in their cabin. However, here's my theory, I have noticed in the past that for the first days - we are fine. Then once we hit land and beaches, I usually get bitten sometime on the last days. On the May one, I had absolutely no problems, however, less kids, no mosquitoes, etc This trip, more tweeners, beach stops almost right away and lots of mosquitoes. BTW, if your doing a dolphin swim, they request that you don't wear sunscreen as it can endanger the dolphins. THAT BEING SAID, on the Canopy adventures, it specifically states for you to bring insect repellant.

I've had to resort to spraying myself with OFF and toweling my legs as the itching is getting bad. They just happend last night. Not 100% sure if it occurred in Rocking Bar D or in bad last night. Remember, I am also in steerage, deck 2, room 2075. Not as bad because I'm right before the laundry but on the EB PC, I'll be right next to it and getting all the heat from the laundry. Not a good sign. I really think its all that traffice and running. BTW, lost one of my magnets - a Prince Eric one. Darn heathens! I should have known better

Oh man, I hope that doesn't happen on our cruise. Those bugs just LOVE me and I'll be eaten up.

I think those are with the documents where people didn't check in completely online. I didn't get pages like that in mine either.

I hadn't checked in online completely until the night before I got the pkg....

Your suitcase is exactly like one of the sets we have. Ruby usually uses it to go to GS camp, church camp, etc. For SOME reason, I don't know why.... we have 2 red and 2 blue mickey sets- and then the red set. I think actually the reason why is we already had the red set and I just bought 4 of the mickey sets to go with it to match our family of 3 females/2 males.I dunno. LOL

We better check our luggage to make sure we got the right one! LOL

I am finally ketchuped!~ Wow, I missed out on end of thread 10, most of thread 11, but got all caught up on this one. FINALLY!!!!

I think it was the fact that I could do whatever I wanted yesterday on my birthday, so I Dissed most of the day and sat outside on my deck with some friends drinking yummy wine. The weather was perfect and we have hundreds and hundreds of fireflies in the yard. Happy day!!!

The food was cooked for me and DH and the kids kept the house cleaned. The only bummer was that no one did the laundry...oh well, I am an expert at it anyway!

Have a great day everyone and hopefully I will be able to stay ketched up now! Especially since we are getting so close! I leave 2 weeks from tomorrow!!!

Try really hard not to have too many pages as I won't be able to get back on until late this evening as we are having Christmas in July with my in-laws this afternoon!

Oh, and I did get frustrating news yesterday, I booked a trip for all of us and my in-laws for a 10 day trip to WDW for Thanksgiving and with the airlines struggles, they CANCELLED our flights to Orlando, to rebook would be an extra $500 PER PERSON. We simply can't afford that for 9 people so we now get the excitement of trying to figure out a new vacation plan. It is kind of an exciting opportunity. Disappointing though as my in laws have never been and they were going for their first time.

Oh well, if anyone has any ideas...feel free to throw them out. We have taken them on DCL and to Mexico already. TIA!

Well..at midnight last night..I decided..it was time to try on my formal..and it fits! put the tiara on with it..looks nice... so I am ready to go..now I just need to find my pirate t-**** and also see if any of Disney tropical dresses fit....

Did you happen to find out the size of the tiki mickey (Lisa said that's the name of it) so that I might be able to borrow it on the cruise?

When DS8 was about 5, I was the coolest mom ever because we Tivoed the HSM showing when the cast taught the dance moves during the commercial breaks. We learned the "We're All In This Together" dance in our living room.

Now he's 8 and I'm not so cool...

LOL we did the same thing..... all learned together that dance from the commercials (that were recorded on tape with the movie itself). And my kids were about 6, 8 and 12.5 at the time. We're immature in this house I guess. LOL

I love to see people have started packing. I am so behind. My BFF and I separated the stuff we'd bought for our kids into bags and I gave her a couple of things I'd bought for her - stain wipes, first aid kit - but I haven't even thought about which clothing I'm taking other than formal and Pirate. Also, if you thought you completed the documents, but they aren't totally complete, it will print out everything. I have clients that don't authorize payment for the children and then they can't print out the contract. If that's the case, the documents (while you think they are complete) are not complete. You have to authorize everyone one way or another for payment and then limit them once onboard.

Other than these possibilities, no clue why some got it and some didn't.

Yep, the handful that aren't CC members, soon will be. Yikes, need to account for the CC freebies in the return luggage.

Since we are sharing our packing piles..thought I would share mine!

The Avon boxes in the back are full of things I have to pack..mostly FE and SM gifts and toilettries that I have been collecting. The yellow envelopes are the lanyards.

DH just brought in the remaining suitcases... I didn't realize that I had already used our larger suitcases and all I have left are my small ones..this should be fun!

Your piles are much more organized than mine .

I did pack all the dinner clothes today in the humongous garmet bag.

Total weight.........42 pounds .

Need to add one more suit coat for DH that is at the cleaners and a formal, but that should only be about 2 more pounds.

That is, if the cleaner can get out the glue stain they got on my formal when they cleaned it last week . If not, looks like last minute formal-wear shopping for me.

I just checked with my teens and tween and they are NOT in High School Musical.

My girls saw them in concert recently as they opened for Hannah Montana here in Milwaukee!

I asked them who they were and they said that they sing some popular songs like "Like whoa", "Potential Break Up Song", "When Chemicals React" and they act in some Disney Channel Movies.

Morning everyone
DS flying home from San Diego today. Some sort of comic anime convention?
He is going back in Oct to Anaheim I think for the World of Warcraft one.This time my DD wants to go with him as they are avid players.

Off to get ready for work.

Comic Con is the biggest geek convention there is! A few years back it was taken over by Hollywood, so directors and actors now use it to screen upcoming movies to check the geek reaction. I used to go years ago, when I was in college, back when it was mostly comics. It was great to see all the people dressed up, usually in Star Wars or Star Trek costumes. One year a friend made me go just so she could get Scott Bakula's autograph. I think it was when his show "Quantam Leam" was still on the air.

When I did the documents online the other day it only makes you sign RESPONSIBILITY for the financial things with the kids but it lets you choose if they have charging privileges or not. So why would we need to limit them once onboard when we already did on the documents? It said it was completed and let me print everything out even though I put on there the kids can't charge things. Maybe they changed that?

I have to agree with you. It is also nice to have movies that don't have the cursing and making out scenes in them for the kids to watch whenever. The music is catchy and has a beat so when we clean we play the CD sometimes.
