Haven't had a cool color in a long time. We've stuck with "Desert Sand" to keep them from looking dirty all the time....we live on a dirt road....but I really wanted this one to be "fun".

The steering is tight...which I love....it corners something awesome...and it's a pretty smooth ride for as low as it is. My husband is 6' and 220# and he has plenty of room. In fact, we saw a very plus size man trying them out at the dealership and he didn't have any trouble. Our 5'9" son has plenty of room in the back too.

Picture this....when I got home, DH wasn't home with the Yukon yet, so I pulled the Mini into the Yukon's space and turned it into the spot it's in in the picture!! I LOVED that!!!

Oh....and.....does it EVER have some power!! I could get myself in BIG trouble.

Honest Officer, it was Really going THAT fast? :lmao:

Wendy I can not find it either. My thoughts are to put my camera in one of my underwater bags when going outside until it warms up therefore theoretically reducing condensation. Does this require a science warning. :scared1:

Laura (??) suggested putting a towel over the camera as you go in and out of the a/c

Stephen has always had good friends on each cruise, He was asked once if he know the Queen and did we had afternoon tea? His reply was seen the Queen on TV, and we have McDonald's.

:rotfl2: That goes along with people asking us (people from TX) about our horses & Oil wells! :lmao: :rotfl2:

You haven't discovered Texas Tea and moved to Beverly to be with Desiree..:confused3

Just like we get everyone saying it always rains in Seattle.

And we have "Cowboys and Indians" all over the place!

That's ok...everyone always asks me if I see all of the celebrities all the time...umm..yeah... my house is the happening place in California.

And when we were living in Kansas, everyone had to ask how Dorothy and Toto were. But the worst was when someone was amazed we actually had paved roads instead of dirt roads. I guess they didn't think there's been much progress since the wagon trails.

Does anyone know which date the CC member party was held on the wB?
I tried looking at the navigators but I must have missed it. I do remember hearing it was held as a deck party because there were so many CC members

4:45 pm May 13 - second sea day

Which would lead right into dinner???

There was a teen "star" on the 10 Night Christmas cruise....I can't remember now who it was, and I'd ask the kids except Jared's doing yard work and Jordan's cleaning the bathroom and I'm not about to interrupt either of them!! :thumbsup2 But anyway......she was a TRUE diva. What a snot. Her room was near ours and we'd run into her in the hallway as she was griping to her Mom about one thing or another......I really hope if we have these two girls mentioned, they aren't snotty like that girl was.

Jordan just came by, she doesn't remember her name either, but said she might have been on "Even Stevens"??? And the first thing Jordan said was "She was a *itch".

Christy Carlson Romano. I just looked it up.

Thanks!

Us either. Was an itinerary supposed to be in the cruise docs?

Played ketchup again tonight. Got through page 147...still a bunch to go! Oh well, I'm home tomorrow. Maybe I'll get some time on the computer. Had a great bridal shower at a fun wine bar in Sacramento. We had champagne flights, played some silly games, and ate loads of yummy cheeses and fruits. It was a great break from reality - wedding and cruise planning! AND I got our FE done. My friend helped. There's nothing Disney on it, but I think it turned out good. All I have to say is I hope no one is prone to seizures due to blinking lights..... Off to bed now!

Jen, you are "addicted" look at you DISing while you are out of town at your own bridal shower :bride:

Looking forward to our "mini meet" next week. It might even be the miniest of all precruise meets since it is just Jen and me! :rotfl: If any other San Diegans are lurking out there and interested PM us for details.

I think those are with the documents where people didn't check in completely online. I didn't get pages like that in mine either.

Yes, I agree the package is far smaller if you check in online, and the covering letter makes reference to the fact that you have completed it.

So thats the benefit really check in line and you get the second Sunday and the Panama canal, don't check in online and you fast forward past Panama,:rotfl: :rotfl: :rotfl: :rotfl:

We checked in online, but got the pages. Maybe it's because we're having DCL do the travel, and there are a couple of forms associated with that?

Regarding the onboard airline check-in.....

I just looked though our onboard check-in docs. It sez we're allowed 2 bags.
Now....it also says we have to 'register' at check-in time. I wonder if they'll try and stiff us for the extra baggage at that point (we're on American out of MCO)

Andy

DCL has a contract with the carriers to allow them to check in guests onboard for the flights. As of the last time I checked (and I'll be checking again before we go), the contracts had not changed to accommodate the new charges for bags and therefore you are still allowed to check in two (without charge).

I hope that's true. If so, booking air with DCL will end up having saved us $$ over doing it ourselves (price was competitive regardless).

In our Docs the first card is torn out already.

Same here.

Did you do it recently or at the 90 day mark? It seems to be the reason, My ticket booklet doesn't have much in it, and doesn't have the times and port schedule.

WOW!!!!

Oh, and I did get frustrating news yesterday, I booked a trip for all of us and my in-laws for a 10 day trip to WDW for Thanksgiving and with the airlines struggles, they CANCELLED our flights to Orlando, to rebook would be an extra $500 PER PERSON. We simply can't afford that for 9 people so we now get the excitement of trying to figure out a new vacation plan. It is kind of an exciting opportunity. Disappointing though as my in laws have never been and they were going for their first time. :(

Oh well, if anyone has any ideas...feel free to throw them out. We have taken them on DCL and to Mexico already. TIA! :)

Before you give up on wdw, you might reshop for flights with other airlines. I'm not sure where you're flying from, but if it's Milwaukee (as shown on the page), be sure to also check out flying Southwest from Chicago. If you have flexibility on dates, you can do a lot better than $500/person.

Thanks!

Open Itunes
Insert the disk into the computer
Itunes will ask if you want to import it- yes
It will import it into itunes
What you will need to do is make a playlist for it
Go to File- new playlist- then label that playlist
Go into your music (it won't recognize it a an audiobook)
You can highlight the first one and then hold down ctrl and click the last one and it will highlight all in the section.
While highlighted right click and go to Add to playlist and select that playlist
Make sure that when you hook you ipod to the computer that the playlist is checked to upload into your ipod
When your ipod is attached to the computer, go to the music tab and check that playlist and click apply(at the bottom right of the screen)

That's it.
You will need to do this to every disk or import all the disks first then add them to the playlist by the highlight and add directions
Have fun.

If you happen to see adults not behaving their age when HSM is on Ariel View, I'm not one of them ;)

Andy

When DS8 was about 5, I was the coolest mom ever because we Tivoed the HSM showing when the cast taught the dance moves during the commercial breaks. We learned the "We're All In This Together" dance in our living room.

Now he's 8 and I'm not so cool...

Was looking for a pirate costume for my DH online. I said wait til you see what this lady made for her daughter on the disboards. You have totally blew him away, all he could say is WOW!!!

DarthRugby is no lady.

Since we are sharing our packing piles..thought I would share mine!

The Avon boxes in the back are full of things I have to pack..mostly FE and SM gifts and toilettries that I have been collecting. The yellow envelopes are the lanyards.

DH just brought in the remaining suitcases... :lmao: I didn't realize that I had already used our larger suitcases and all I have left are my small ones..this should be fun! :rotfl2:

I didn't see it on the WB Navigators as it is by invitation only often it is not shown, but you would be able to see that the Goofy pool area is closed off.

I seem to remember ours on the EB in 2005, was held at the Goofy pool, from 5pm, due to the 1750 CC members on board, food and drink supplied, and the Captain spoke from the Goofy stage.

I think it will be on the sea days after Acapulco.

Edit

It was on DAY 4, the second sea day on the cruise, ie Tuesday May 13th, if you look at page 4, the Goofy pool closed at 3pm, so I think it was at 4.00pm 4.30pm. The goofy pool reopened later at 6pm.

With this cruise it seems they might as well open it to the whole ship. There will be what - a dozen non cc members onboard?

Did you do it recently or at the 90 day mark? It seems to be the reason, My ticket booklet doesn't have much in it, and doesn't have the times and port schedule.

90 day mark. I do have some forms, but they seem to relate mostly to transfers and air.
For example: There's a "vacation itinerary" page that includes flights & transfers. Then pages with the flight and resort info (pre-stay). So my guess is that it's the flight & pre-stay that triggered the vacation and sailing itinerary in my case.

Yes, our table mates ended up on some DCL biking excursion with her & her family and they said she was displaying some very UnDisney-like behaviour most of the day.

My DD did say that she was very nice during the Question and Answer segment she did for the kids.

Take care,
