OK at the request of Andrew here are a few questions for the ladies about their clothing plans...
1) Do you plan to dress up for Formal night? What about Semi Formal?
2) Do you already have your outfits planned or is there some last minute buying and planning to do?
3) Will you have anything done in the spa or salon before any of the dress up nights or will you do hair and make up in your cabin or just go as you usually are?
4) Swim wear.. All in one \ one piece costume? Bikini? Tankini?
5) How many pairs of shoes will you take on board? What footwear will you take?
My Answers:
1) Do you plan to dress up for Formal night? What about Semi Formal?
Yes - I don't get chance at home very often so the cruise is a good excuse
2) Do you already have your outfits planned or is there some last minute buying and planning to do?
I have a knee length black dress I bought for semi formal night. I would like a long gown for formal night but if I don't find what I am looking for at a reasonable price I can manage!
3) Will you have anything done in the spa or salon before any of the dress up nights or will you do hair and make up in your cabin or just go as you usually are?
It will depend on prices, I would love to get my hair done but not sure of salon prices. If not I will do it myself.
4) Swim wear.. All in one \ one piece costume? Bikini? Tankini?
All in one or at a push a Tankini but no way on earth will I bare my post baby tummy in a bikini! Too shocking for words. I am not dreading swimwear though as I have lost 22lbs so far and hope to lose a few more before we leave so feeling a lot more happy about the prospect of swimming costumes at the beach \ pools etc...
5) How many pairs of shoes will you take on board? What footwear will you take?
Hmmm:
Strappy Sandals
Fancy Flip Flops (pretty ones that are ok for wearing with proper clothes not grubby old slopping around in flip flops!
Trainers
Day sandals
