Hello Everyone! My DD's dance group won a judge's award at a really big dance competition this spring!! As a result, their dance is posted online and they are now up for a national award for their dance.

You can help their group if you can take a moment to vote for them online. If you are willing, here is the link...

Thanks to all for best wishes for DS. He was super through the whole thing. He is having less pain today but his fingers are still very swollen. DS is not allowed to do anything active until after MD visit Thursday.

He and DH are both sleeping so I have a little time to myself. I took today off from work because I figured that I would be worthless there (not enough sleep over the past 2 nights)!

PoohJen - sorry to hear about your DS and the bills! I haven't even thought about the potential cost of all this. I'm not sure my insurance will cover both ambulance rides. I'm actually lucky that DS was admitted because that makes the insurance much easier than j"ust" an emergency room visit.

Kritter - hope Hanna is over her illness. I don't know 2 of us with kids take to a children's hospital last week!

Jen - the lanyards sound fine but I agree that you should contact the company anyway. You never know what concessions they will be willing to make.

I guess we will be doing some shore excursion changes since it doesn't look like DS will be able to go in the ocean. I don't think that we will be feeding the stingrays or snorkeling (or bicycling!)

Glad things are well with your son. How is he doing now??

Hanna, still has a fever tonight. Now the dr. says it was not a UTI she thinks it might be a virus and a sinus infection so she is now on a new antibotic.....Poor thing, she ended up taking a nap this afternoon. She was in such a bad mood when she woke up and realized that her sister Hope went to a nearby lake with a friend without her. Heather, can attest to her mood tonight......In turn, mommy was grumpy when Bruce got home....LOL!!!! So when the kids went to bed we put them to bed by 7:30........Took a drink and went swimming in the pool it was 86 degrees tonight!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Good Evening Everyone!

Thanks to all of you who voted for DD's dance. The girls on this line are 11-13 years old and we are so proud of them for doing so great against all the other older lines...they have been so much fun to watch this year! We will continue to rally until voting ends tomorrow! It would be so incredible for them to win this huge honor!!!

I will be contacting everyone who ordered about the lanyards in the next day or so on the payment and how to get your lanyard.. Sounds like people will not be too upset with the black...as I posted earlier, I really love them. I think they turned out really nice with big lettering, a quality lanyard and a nice clip/card holder.

I went out this evening with my friends who I taught with this last year...it was so much fun and so good to sit and visit with them. They are great gals and I was happy to spend the evening with them...even though I stayed way too long!

Good Morning! i slept in today and did not jog my 5K - I was just too tired. DS was awake most the night with leg pains, came in my room crying at 3:00 AM and so I was up from 3:00 AM - almost 6:00 AM. I finally got him calm and to sleep at that point so he and I will be a bit tired today.

I have a crazy busy day...I tutor a lot today but have lots of Disney planning stuff sitting out as well. Today I hope to print out a bunch of files and put them in my planning binder, print out my budget envelopes (I have envelopes for what I have budgeted to spend each day), take photos of the lanyards and post them, send out messages to everyone who bought lanyards, and a few more little things!

In planning mode here too, Have all my ADR on spreadsheet, right now planning my route south and places to stop overnight,

With any luck I can use my SPG points for all my stops on the way down, So far I have a place in cocca Beach the night before the cruise on points,
Looks like Richmond Va and Sannanah GA may be my other stops using points on the way down.

Next up planning the route home and to see if I can score any free nights on the way home

Got the free dinning while at WDW for 3 nights after the cruise.

Do you allow your kids to charge on their KTTW Card.
We are going to try it this year with the understanding I will check every day and if there is anything that was not approved...charging will be gone for them.

If so do you tell them there is a limit?
Yes. It is going to be limited but I haven't decided how much yet. I need to find out how much a smoothie costs.

If aged 8 to 10 do you allow them to self check in/out?
No.

Do you have a Kids contract for the cruise? IE Do not play with elevators, do not go in other peoples rooms, do not stay up beyond 12 midnight? meeting point at set times during the day, do not over eat?
I am going to make one for this cruise. Since they will be allowed a bit more freedom on this cruise I want the rules to be very clear for them. I know they will NOT be allowed in other people's rooms (unless I have met the other parents AND know why they are there AND we talk about it). I know neither of my kids will stay up too late. I am sure I will come up with a whole list of rules.

Do you take your kids on shore trips or allow them to go on teenage ones or stay on ship?
The whole family will be doing excursions together.

Do they 'have to' eat with you? say Dinner.
Yes. They will have to eat dinner with us every night. The night we have Palo reservations they will eat with their aunt. Dinners are family time and a big part of our cruise.

No. Even when they are 8 on our 2010 cruise the answer is no. They are not big fans of the clubs anyways. They like to hang out with us...lol!!

How about some Motrin for him will that help?

Making rice krispies treats for the kids. Then going to work out. Hoping, I can get them both into the pool today. Last night Bruce and I swam a few laps when they went to bed the water was 86 degrees you could see the steam coming off the top of the pool......!!!!!!!!!!!!

I've just got back from school ... not a bad day all in all ... We are about 100° F this afternoon ...
On the way home I saw some tourists ( BUT also Italian people !!! ) ... could you believe it ???

"sunbathing" around the large fountain in our MAIN square in center town !!!

TV news said that in these days in Milano they sell about 2, 74 ice creams per day per person !!!!
On the way home with my colleague/ friend I had an enormous NUTELLA/chocolate ice cream ... floating in a large cup of iced strong coffee !!!!
