I have been napping for a week! I have been out of school now for 1 week and have already fell into the relaxation mode! Tomorrow it is off to Atlantic City. It is 10 pm and I haven't even gotten out a bag to pack clothing IN YET!!! Oh well, going back to bed now that Jeff woke me up... I'll pack in the morning!

Oh ...and I did take some time out to make ressies for meals in Disneyland... I did cave and I made 3 chracter ressies. Goofy's , Minnie's and Ariel's.

Please Join Our Cruise Meet

Hey to all you folks who have posted on this thread but haven't been here lately or haven't yet sent your information to be part of the cruise meet...here's your chance. And all you lurkers too..join in the fun. I'm going to keep badgering you (I'll probably even PM all of you) until you send your info. We really won't bite...well I can't speak for Karen...but the rest of us won't. If you have kids this is a great way for them to connect with other kids their age during the first moments of the cruise!

Our Meet will take place on Sunday (embarkation day) at 2:45 p.m. in the Promenade Lounge - just in advance of the safety drill

Here's all you have to do. PM me your first names, hometown, kids' ages, an email address so I can send you the list, your dining rotation and your cabin number if you want to participate in the Fish Extender fun. Any other info you want to share is welcome.

We were looking forward to this cruise and can tell from all the activity on this board that there are lots of great people on it. Unfortunately, we had to change our plans and will be visiting family in Hawaii instead. We did get our Disney fix last week when we visited Disneyland / DCA. Hope to be able to meet all of you on another Disney cruise.

Unfortunately, we had to change our plans and will be visiting family in Hawaii instead. We did get our Disney fix last week when we visited Disneyland / DCA. I am sad to report that my pre-cruise weight loss program isn't going quite as planned - in other words, I'm not losing any weight!!! Going to have to do something to kick start the process on Monday - OMG I wish there was a yawning smilie!!! I guess this one will have to do...

The weekend is upon us and I have way too many deadlines looming that I better keep working until I can't work any more. Must not work on ship. Must not work on ship. Must not work on ship!!!!

For you DL experts, which character meal is the best? I have one girl who loves princesses and the other who is "too cool" for them but she likes Chef Mickey's at WDW. I'm thinking of booking Goofy's Kitchen and the Ariel meal if we can get in to satisfy both. But would I be better off trying to book any of the other character meals instead of Goofy?

I'm killing time right now waiting for the Dining Line to open up for DL. Can you believe that they weren't open when I tried calling at 9:30! Doesn't the WDW one open a 6 am? We already have our reservations for Goofy's and also want to go to Rainforest Cafe, Naples and Storyteller's for the buffet. Has anyone been to the last 2 restaurants before?

Did you get the photos we sent? Lizzie agonized over which ones she wanted to send! Elizabeth will ONLY get her pic taken with the princesses if her little sister insists. And even then....

I've never been to those restaurants either but am wondering what to book for our 2 nights there before the cruise. I guess I'll take what I can get!

That's cute! Was that gradysmommy? There appear to be two people who make and list them regularly on ebay. I think I prefer hers though. I was thinking I should ask her what she can do. I like the western one she has on ebay now, but I was thinking of something a little more "generic". I love the Tinkerbell one, but I don't think that will please my boys much.

My favorite DL character meal is Goofy's Kitchen, though it's been a while since we went. If it's the same, you will find the greatest variety of characters there. I'm not much of a fan of Ariel's Grotto. But, that could be because I have 2 boys. I remember Chip and Dale there, but not much else. Food choices are more limited.

Hmmm, an early character breakfast might be a good kick off to our cruise.
