we are main. With the time difference from the east coast we thought we had to do early this time.

We're late. We usually eat around 8pm so it seemed the best idea...
Yep. WE usually eat around 7:30 or 8 as well at home. But since we'll not yet have adjusted to the time we thought it was better for the kids to do early on this cruise otherwise DD4 will be asleep in the dining room!
I saw a lot of sleepy kids at the late seating on the Magic last year - bless...
We actually wondered about trying for the early seating as I kinda like the idea of seeing the shows after dinner but never got round to it...

Ah well, more time for a pre-dinner cocktail I guess?!!!

Indeed! WE have tried both dining times and besides the sleepy kid factor, the flow of early dinner just works better for us. We are never on excursions that go real late so getting back in time isn't a problem. We get cleaned up, have dinner, go to the show, visit the family nightclub for Mouseketeer or a family dance party and it just is a great family night out. With late dining, we found ourselves having a harder time filling the time between the show and dinner and DD4 would often fall asleep during the show. So even though we are late eaters at home, the way the day flows on the ship just works better for us with early.
We have the main dinner seating. We had late dining on our 4-night cruise and after dinner we went back to the cabin and went to bed. I'd rather have a little time for my food to settle.I'm hoping the pace of early dining will work better for us. My youngest won't do well sitting through 2-hour dinners.
So how many people are signed up to meet at this point?

We are main dining. I have a 5 and 3 year old who are used to eating at 5:30 every night. My DH is also not too fun when he's hungry. Early is the best for us.
I can't believe we are almost to cruise time!
Hi Andria:
If you are interested in a DIS Cruise Meet, we are planning one at 2:45 p.m. on the first day just before the safety drill in the Promenade Lounge. It will be a chance for the kids to meet so they may see a familiar face or two in the clubs. If you are interested, please PM me your information (first names of all, ages of kids, your hometown, your dinner seating info and if you are wanting to participate in the FIsh Extender gift exchange, your cabin number). We have five families in for the meet right now. Hope you'll join us!

I am so excited - I just made my first priority seating today for Goofy's Kitchen. We are going to have dinner there the day we get off the ship. I also purchased our 4 day Park Hoppers for DL & CA today. Only 52 more days until we leave!!!!![]()

Not really. I'm just joking. That's what we Brits like to think passes for humour... I'll get back to my chores...![]()

You know I was just kidding, Karen.
I'll do anything to coax some of these folks out into the open and signing on for our meet. Karen and I can't drink all the champagne ourselves! Hmmm. Maybe we can!![]()
