Do you have to be home to sign for the docs? Of, course, tomorrow of all days I have to be at the circus!

Great question, Andria! I didn't think of that and today I have to be gone far to get my share of new iPhone. I hope my DH will be home sooner for lunch.

I went back and checked my TA's message. According to her, she will be sending the "DOC" about 10 days prior to the boarding. So that is July 31. I did not understand how important this "DOC" she was talking about, since this is our very first cruise EVER.

I am guessing, they (my TA's office) are sending DOCs first to the oversea customers (they are dealing mainly with DCL customers from Japan) just incase something happened in the international mail system.

My TA told me that my documents will come directly from Disney. I specifically asked since every other cruise I have been on, my docs came from the TA.

One DISer asked me, in person, how I can afford all those stuff for FE. I told him what I have SO FAR.

I though you might wanted take a look also.

1) See's Candies is one of our local item. So, the famous lollypops or even the lollypop minis are easier budget wise
2)Some people are bringing local salt water tuffy
3)Jem stones & pirates medals from Disney Store (they were on sale for $.99 a small bag!!)
4)glow sticks ($1.00 a 15 sticks pack @ Michaels)
5)stickers
6)tiny lizards from Disney Character Outlet ($.05 each)
7)homemade(?) Mexican cruise magnet
8)bouncy balls from Target
9)Disney high-light markers from Michaels ($1 for 5 markers)
10)bubbles
11)marbles

If any of you want to opt out from my STUFF, let me have your cabin #! , I won't bother you.

Count me IN for the STUFF!!! I think your FE gifts sound great and full of Disney thought! I for a fact KNOW that my daughter will absolutely love all of your gifts!!! I bought a lot of small trinket, candy and tiny tidbits for our FE exchange. My daughter and I will be making some homemade FE gifts for you all later today!!!! She is 2 years old... can't wait to see how your gifts turn out!!! Just remember... it is all for the "magic" of meeting new people!

unless someone is organizing the true exchange , DD4 and I will do "rounds" whenever we can;
one item at a time;
to whomever has FE up.

Otherwise (when DD gets tired or bored), I will do the rounds all by myself and I am happy with it (I just love giving STUFF to people).

re: to whom do you address?
I will put my STUFF wheres there's pockets for (including moms & dads) or some things I make just for kids. Depends on how many FE and how much STUFF. No particular rules.

This sounds good to me!! Let's make our own rules...

Lets just roll with it and have fun!!! I know for one... I am having a great time planning all of these little gifts... and Jenni, my 2 year old is having a great time "helping!" It is giving us lots of reasons to go to Michael's, the dollar store and be artsy-crafty!

On our last Disney Cruise 2 years ago, half of our group was booked through Dreams Unlimited and the other half through an aquaintance of mine who works for Cruise Planners. The people with Dreams Unlimited got their docs a lot sooner than we did. Needless to say, I wasn't making that mistake this time! I am far to excited for this vacation to happen to have to wait around for other people to review my documents for me!

How do the docs arrive? I can't remember but I hope it is UPS! Fed Ex & our mail lady have already been around today.

Yes! That sounds perfect. Like Ayumi, I didn't want to give people (adults) stuff they didn't want. But it doesn't sound like that'll be a problem.

Little treats showing up randomly are always more fun than something scheduled! I can't wait to do more shopping and to distribute my stuff!

I just came home and found it along with an Amazon box, but I just grabbed the DCL UPS label on it, but my TA might have printed out??

But, now which one is the actual boarding pass? Only things I see are ground transportation, mailing list, and on board air checkin forms. Plus there were a bunch of baggage tags, which I am not sure know if they have enough .

PS, our UPS guys comes at least twice a day around here. I just saw another truck coming through the community gate, but drove right passed my house.

I just checked on my excusrions... just because i am excited... and saw that my Harbor Cruise and Scenic Drive excursion in Cabo was moved from 9:45 am - 1:15 pm to 8:45 am-12:15 pm. I see that on the dcl website it is still listed tha we are in Cabo from 9:30 am till 6 pm. Why would our excursion be moved to a time 45 minutes before we arrive??? Did our Cabo arrival time change???? How bout departure time????

I missed the delivery because I had the nerve to take my kids to the circus! I feel so left out of the docs celebration!
