I was just on a trip report thread and saw the posts about checking in for the cruise at the GC. I posted there.... but then thought maybe you knew since I saw you posted there too. Do you know if anyone can do this or did we need to book our extra park days with Disney??? We are using DVC points for our stay at the DLH.

Also, I noticed you said that you were doing a transfer using Disney. How did you arrange that? Call me crazy but I am not interested in getting to the port extra early. We were planning to get their about 12:30 or so. Does Disney have times to choose from?

I saw one post said she was staying @ Disney's Paradise Pier Hotel and walked over to GC to get them checked in. Which made them get the boarding pass "#2" (from what I gather, people who checked in at GC gets #2 passes.

Regarding the Disney Transfer buses, they are first come first serve bases. So if you line up later in the morning, you can get there later. If you want to get there as fast, you line up as early as you are allowed.

Now this is an "intelligence" not a "fact", but this is what I have been reading. If you needed a source, I can look for them.

I love your attitude about your DOCs!! I will be standing by to do the dance.

Wish I could tell you but what I have heard from everyone (including travel agent) is that we just book it once we check in at GCH. I literally don't know anything more than that.

Hello All! My docs are somewhere in FedEx land. I hope I am home to get them on Monday. My kids have swim lessons and with my luck, that is when my docs will arrive.

I know in my heart that the docs don't have anything meaningful but it means that my vacation will be starting sooner rather than later.

That is correct. Since you are driving, only thing you need out of THE DOC is just a 1/4 legal size page with 4 bar codes. (I believe that what we really need).

So many talented people travelling with us !! Everything looks great! I bought our FE from eBay and I have finally picked up some stuff to put in them! Now I just need to find some good books to read or cough up money for the internet on the ship! I called to try to upgrade our cabins but they said there were no upgrades so we will be in category 12 probably next to the boiler room But who cares? we are just going to be sleeping there - if we have time to sleep!

I finally found magnetic ink jet paper today after looking at 5+ stores. Time to design some door signs.

I also ordered my fish extender from ebay and I'm anxiously awaiting its arrival. I made a treat last night to share with my disfriends. Only 3 more weeks...
