I went grocery shopping on Thursday and made sure to have a little extra in the house since the kids are on spring break... I near about fell in the floor when the total bill came to double what I normally spend!

They have had friends over this week so I expect a great food shortage very soon!

LOL, I feel your pain Kelly. The girls best friend has been here most of the weekend, so between the three of them my food had run right down. Thankfully they've gone to her house this afternoon. - Can you hear that ? arrrr peace and quiet

Morning all!!

I am totally cruise obsessed now! I can't do anything without thinking about the cruise in a few weeks, the one in January... now I'm talking about the cruise for 2011!

There is a thread on Cruise Critic called "Hi my name is" (can't recall the girls name) "and I am a cruise addict". So now I don't feel too bad knowing that it's a problem for others too!

Enjoy your shopping today Mandy! And Betsy... I'm not going to say have fun at the dentist... I'm feeling so bad for you, even if this is a routine visit!

That drives me nuts! To be able to fit in anything, I have to go up two sizes in those stores... no wonder the younger generation has self-esteem issues regarding their weight!

I know about the clothes. I tried on a nice Disney jacket at Hot Topic that said it was XL and I couldn't even get it to close over my mmm well the word would be ***'d out if I tried to put it here. It didn't even go anywhere near to meeting at the middle

Good luck at the dentist today Robin, mine WAS just rutine, but I still hate to go....
Today....its a Doc. appt....again...YUCK! ...actually an even bigger YUCK then yesterday.... again its just a check up...

Sounds like the younger generation is taking over..... ...When does school start again?????LOL.. Wish I could send you all my leftovers...I have food in the fridge, Im going to have to throw away...I guess I didnt send enough home with everyone on Easter......

My girls have got another week off school/college. They go back next Thursday. Mmm, I bet you've got a fridge full of yummy food, and here's me with all my Weight Watchers meals I must confess that I've been good all Easter and I've not eaten any chocolate - I just hope it shows up on my scales on Friday

My visit to the dentist went fine.

No extra work needing to be done at this time.

Liz and I brought home a new baby today

I stopped at the pet store and they had the cutest fluffy grey kittens

One was snatched up while I was standing there.

I went and got Liz and we picked one out

She doesn't have an official name yet but Liz wants to call her Miranda maybe shorten it to Randi or maybe even Mandy

Would it be an insult to name our cat Mandy

Who knows maybe we will come up with a totally different name after having her for a day or two.

My poor sweet little Mischief is soooo very pissed at us right now

She is hissing and growling.

I hope she returns to her sweet little self really soon.

Hopefully we have not damaged her forever.

When I worked at Project Paws...and we had to put cats together...we would spray them all with the same perfume...that way they all smelled the same and accepted each other better....You might want to try that.also spray a little in the litterbox if you use one... ..It really works well..or did for us anyway...
I just LOVE lt. kittens...So cute and fun to watch....
Congratulations...Im sure they will get along just fine, it just take alittle time!

Thanks ...It went as expected...YUCK!...

Easter dinner was ...Ham, with scalloped potatoes, Leg of lamb, with pan browned potatoes, brussel sprouts, (it amazed me how many of the kids loved them...I do, but normally kids dont ) and broccolli...2 pumpkin pies, and 2 bluebarry pies, and 2 peanutbutter pies..and assort. pickel and relish tray, dinner rolls, tossed /salad with dressings...Ummmm I think thats it.....I sent ALOT home, but I have ALOT left and there is just mike, me and mom to eat it...and she cant eat most of it because its too rich for her to tolerate...

Want to come and visit for a few days with your kids????LOL...If ya cant stay I'll make you all doggie bags to bring home

Aww, I love kittens, the only problems is that I'm allergic to them. I used to have a black & white cat when I was a kid, but when I became a teenager I became allergic to them. You can call it Mandy if you like. Offer it a Bahama Mama, and if she likes it - then I think Mandy would be an appropriate name

Mmm, Betsy your food sounds delicious. With all this dieting, I find myself thinking about food all the time

I'm rubbish at thinking of names, but knowing me I would probably choose something Disney like Figaro (although she doesn't look like the cat from Pinocchio )

I've had a busy morning. I took my mum shopping, and Becky came along, so she had us in every shop We got home, had a quick bite to eat and then I took Becky to have her hair cut.

I've not long been in, and I'm gasping for a cup of tea (thankfully I've got one here )
