I was really lucky. The treadmill arrived around 11.30am, so I was able to dash to town to get all my bills paid and do some grocery shopping

I'm looking forward to giving it a go tomorrow

The April Fool pranks have officially begun here...

CW already got me with telling me the county was at our billboard on the highway dismantling it because the building permit was not filed correctly...

That got me really burnt up!! I was getting ready to call the county supervisor and give him an earful! Then CW snickered and sang "April Fools"!

All I have to say is... Mr. Savage... paybacks are H-E-double-L!

Hi all.

My mother in law called this morning because she found out yesterday that we have a new kitten.

She couldn't stand it and had to stop in to see her

While she was here she invited our family out to a really nice brunch place for Sunday morning

Kelly, the new kitten to doing great and fitting in quite well already.

We finally came up with a name for her on Sunday night Who would have thought thinking up a name for one very small kitten would be so difficult.

Her name is Duster although we call her Dusty most of the time.

Mischief is getting used to her but still hisses at her when she gets too close. Duster usually ignores the hissing and runs right up to Mischief anyways. She knows a softie when she sees one

CW better watch out because now you will be out to get him for pulling that prank on you

I have to go to town today...So Im on the run

I didnt even think of it being April fools yesterday, til the afternoon...BUT Mother nature, had a laugh on us for April fools....Yesterday...It was 66 degrees, and we had sun on and off(it was wonderful), but this morning I woke up to snow! ...Its just a dusting, and Im sure it will be gone by this afternoon, BUT ????.... ...Oh well...Such is life...

I really like the name of duster....Mikes and my sec. cat was named Dusty...He was cool...We lived on a sec. floor apt. in Va., and all I had to do to get him to come home at night was go out on the bal. and rattle the top of my catnip jar...and he'd come-a-runnin...and fly up to the bal from a wall he use to use to get down....He LOVED his catnip

I really like to use my TM...BUT it gets more use in the winter. When its warm I like to walk outside to Salt Springs..(Its the state park I live right down the road from.)

Kelly, ONLY 10 more days You lucky duck...You will have a blast, and it will be so nice to have alone time with CW... ...

I got a call from an Adult living home, yesterday...They will have a opening as soon as this weekend ...I am glad to hear it, but I wasnt prepaired for it this soon....Im starting to feel really quilty...I know its something that has to be done, as I have been doing it for over 10 years in my house and almost 20 years all together....Its starting to take a toll on me, (and Mike too)...BUT I feel like Im letting her down....She seems OK with it, but Im not sure she really know what it all means..

The place is really nice and I can come and go as I please...Even take her out for a day ...or more...The have a bluegrass band that comes and plays for them...Its all very homey...Only 60 beds, and she would have a roommate...I just hope Im doing the right thing...

Well I better go get ready for my appts.....

Aww, so you thought that I'd switched from one cruising buddy's name to the other one.

Last night was the first night that we left Duster free to roam all night long.

She didn't come and bother me and I haven't looked for her yet so hopefully she was okay.

We used to lock her in a cage to "protect" her from herself and also Mischief.

We've decided that Mischief is not a threat so we thought it was time to let Dusty be a big girl

My big girl Mischief is sitting on my lap right now, sucking up some attention.

I've asked her if she has eaten Dusty overnight but she is just purring

I've got some work to do today. So I've got to go.

You are doing the right thing and you know deep down that you are but it is a very difficult thing to do.

She might try to make you feel guilty at first but keep strong. You will soon find out that you are doing what is best for everyone.

I did several annoying things to CW to get him back!

I had one of the girls I work with to email him a message, the message said "Please call Mr. Behr at 410-548-3188. He got your name from Gary Williams and is interested in our company doing a job for him."

When CW called he reached the local zoo! Bad part is, CW though Mr. Behr was pronounced "beer" instead of "bear" so it wasn't that funny to him...

Then I...
**taped his phone reciever down so he couldn't answer his phone.
**taped a post it note saying "April Fools" on the bottom of his mouse so it looked as if his computer had locked up.
**put a rubber band around the sprayer on our kitchen sink, little Miss Carolin helped with this prank. She stayed home sick with the flu yesterday. When daddy got home, she asked him to rinse out her glass and fill it with ginger ale. He got soaked!!

CW has finally gotten excited about this, he was dancing around this morning and singing!

I got a call from an Adult living home, yesterday...They will have a opening as soon as this weekend ...I am glad to hear it, but I wasnt prepaired for it this soon....Im starting to feel really quilty...I know its something that has to be done, as I have been doing it for over 10 years in my house and almost 20 years all together....Its starting to take a toll on me, (and Mike too)...BUT I feel like Im letting her down....She seems OK with it, but Im not sure she really know what it all means..

The place is really nice and I can come and go as I please...Even take her out for a day ...or more...The have a bluegrass band that comes and plays for them...Its all very homey...Only 60 beds, and she would have a roommate...I just hope Im doing the right thing...

Betsy... you are doing the right thing! She is going to have care day and night, entertainment, alot of socializing, and be prepared... some good looking gent will probably be chasing her! That happened with my grandfather! But his "girlfriend" did not like my family!

She will be fine, try not to feel guilty! She'll meet lots of new people and may feel like she's a teenie-bopper hanging out with her buddies again!

Aww Betsy, I know it's a tough decision to make, but you know it for the best for everyone. It sounds like a lovely place and at least you'll be able to take her out for the day

Well today I couldn't go on the treadmill, my knees were hurting too much, so I did my dvd instead

I have sooo much more to do! I think I'm now making up things to do to help pass the time!

Chad has a game on Friday, I'm gonna sneak a quick little shopping trip in that day...

I have been getting my clothes together and hanging them in one section! I need to be careful about my shoes though... I'm up to 3 pairs of dress shoes, a red pair, black pair, and gold pair! (this doesn't include sneakers, flip flops, sandals )

I am definitely NOT a shoe girl.

I usually take one pair of dress shoes (which I don't wear unless I absolutely have to), my running shoes which I wear all the time and maybe a pair of casual sandals just in case.

I haven't got a very interesting day today. I'm taking my mum shopping, and probably doing my exercise dvd. The girls are back to school/college today, so I'll be glad to get back to my usual routine
