Mandy, have fun shopping with Becky today! I don't know if I told you, but I loved that dress you bought when you guys went shopping! I saw a commercial about the Transformer movie last night, I immediately thought of Becky and giggled thinking of her pic you posted! :rotfl:

LOL, she's mad about Transformers :thumbsup2

What have you got planned for the Easter weekend Kelly ? :)

Hey Betsy

Have you enjoyed your quiet week ? it seems to have flown by
YES!...It was wonderful...I was my old self again!..I got my hair cut and colored...bought a new pair of shoes, visited with family and friends I havent had time for beofe...Just great!...I think this will be just the thing to keep me sane :rotfl2: ..and good for my MOM too....:thumbsup2...Have a good day running around and getting your shopping

I can't read your ticker very well, how much longer is it until your WDW trip ?
Is my ticker cut off?...It looks ok on my laptop to me, but on Mikes PC its cut off too.:confused3
It says I have 2months 4 weeks and 1 day:teeth:

Thanks for Becky's birthday wishes :)
:thumbsup2
Morning all!!:goodvibes

Robin, glad your basement didn't get soaked! The weather in the states have been horrible. I'm hoping it won't hit our area like it has other areas. I feel bad for all of those people out west. Have fun planning your Sept trip! :thumbsup2

Betsy, good luck getting everything done today! I imagine Easter is a big time around your home with all of those grandkids. Are you going to have any Easter egg hunts?
One of the Major celebrations here...We have an egg hunt every year...unless its bad weather...then we have some kind of contest(hot potato, bingo) to see who gets the prizes....We have three age groups, three prizes...Its alot of fun, but also alot of work...I wouldnt miss it!

Good morning again.

I was up very late last night watching television with Liz.

She found a Jon and Kate makes 8 marathon and started to watch it. We'd never really seen the show before. Cute kids, but it was on until 3am. :faint:

I'm not really too far into actually planning our trip but I've done some thinking about it. Other than pretty much deciding that we will be doing MNSSHP.

I will need to check into prices and such before I decide whether we will stay onsite or off. I'm thinking probably off.

Yes I'd love to take her on a Disney Cruise, of course. I'm not sure that it's in the budget to do both.

My mom has been to Disney many times before in the past and she has also been on one Disney Cruise too.

Betsy, glad to hear that your week off has recharged your batteries.

That will be great to have that to look forward to every month.

I wonder how well your Mom will settle in once she gets back home. It may take some adjustment time each time she is away.

Mandy, enjoy your shopping.

Kelly, :dance3: :dance3:

Morning girls,

Its almost the weekend again!..:cool1: .Boy I tell ya the older I get the faster time moves....:sad2:
I am gonna be a busy lady, for the next couple of days...I have to finish cleaning my house, to make it all spiffy for my Easter dinner...
I still have to shop for the food,(not the whole dinner,..Everyone brings something) and alot of the basket things....and I have to pick up flowers for the tables...:teleport:zoom....:car:
Sooo Im gonna be busier then the ole Easter bunny!....LOL:rotfl:
The weather could be better for Sunday, but Im not going to complain...The last 2 years its been either rainny, or snowy...:cold:
This year its suppose to be partly sunny and in the upper 30s/lower 40s ..but dry....well except for the ground..and with it being as cold as its suppose to be, that may keep the muddyness down...:wizard: :confused3

Whats everyone elses plans for Easter????.....Any hunts/dinners in the works in your homes????...If so heres to a great time for all:wizard: :dance3:

Kelly,
Did you ever find shoes to go with that beautiful dress?.....
Your trip is right around the corner....Isnt it?....
Ohh you are going to have sooo much fun!:yay:

I cant believe we will be off again in 3 month time...I cant wait!:cool1: ....
I only wish Britt would be able to go too...:sad1: , But theres always next trip...Maybe this will give her motivation in her school work...:confused3 ...:teacher: better grades, = no summerschool, and no missed trips to the world;) Hopefully!

Well I got to go see if my Mom is stirring yet...and get her breakfast ready....
Ill try to check in later, when I take a break...:3dglasses

What have you got planned for the Easter weekend Kelly ? :)

I'm working tommorrow (I don't mind... it goes towards the days I take off for the cruise :goodvibes )

And Sunday, I'll be cooking my first Easter dinner for just CW, myself, and the kids! I'm pretty excited about us having our own little dinner. Normally, we go to my DSIL or DMIL's house... but we haven't heard of any get togethers.

My DMIL's church will be in our backyard for sunrise service, so I'll be up pretty early Easter morning. It's going to be cold.:guilty:

How about you guys?

We love watching Jon & Kate plus 8, the kids are adorable... but I'm very happy with just two kids!;) They are a very cute couple, too!

That's pretty cool that Liz will make time to sit with you and watch tv!:thumbsup2 Mine have discovered that it's more fun to hop on the computer or go in their rooms and listen to music...

My sister and mom went shopping and suprised me today with a gorgeous pair of dress shoes and a matching clutch!:lovestruc

I am very excited about this cruise! We leave 3 weeks from today!:cool1:

Good luck to Britt on getting school back on track! We'll be cheering her on :cheer2:

Good evening ladies.

Kelly, Liz likes me to sit and watch tv with her:thumbsup2 When she was a young teenager though, she also spent her time on the computer or reading a book. Now she's over that stage and likes the company.

I'm not sure what Easter Sunday is supposed to be like around here, haven't looked yet. But right now we are getting .................... SNOW:headache: :headache: :headache:

Expecting 6 to 8 inches of snow overnight. I sure hope they are wrong. I've had enough snow to last me 10 years.

Well, we had an exciting day today.

We went shopping again and put a deposit on a 5th wheel trailer.:dance3:

It is a 2004 Cardinal, 29 feet long. It is in excellent condition and it sure is beautiful.

It was a very big amount of money to be spending (at least to us) and hopefully we will be happy with it.

We have decided that if we find we don't like it in a year or two we can easily sell it. We bought it in Michigan. Trailers there are much, much cheaper than here in Ontario. So if we don't like it we will probably be able to get a really good price selling it.

I will see if I can post some pictures for you.

Photobucket does not seem to load pictures for me anymore.

Does anybody have any ideas why not???

I managed to get some pictures loaded and now you guys have to look at them:rotfl2:

Rick and the saleman checking things out.... these are all from when we were "just looking" not "buying".

Another view of the main area of the trailer. The airplane must come inside at night or in the rain and it will be sitting in the middle of the floor area.

Rocker recliner chairs, lovely big windows in the back:

Isn't this the craziest idea. A laundry shute to the "basement" :lmao:

A couple pictures of the outside:

It also has a really large "basement" storage area under the front of the unit to bring along all of the various assorted bits and pieces that are a necessary evil of flying remote control airplanes.

Sorry to bore you with all my pictures but I had to share them with someone and you guys were elected:laughing:

Wow 3 months, it'll be here before you know it. Betsy I really hope that Britt is able to join you in WDW, maybe this will encourage her to do better at school - I have my fingers crossed for you both :thumbsup2

How sweet of you! I hope CW & I can be awesome grandparents like you guys are! We look forward to having little ones back in our house, but not anytime soon :rotfl: ;)

Me too Kelly :thumbsup2 I can't wait to be a Nan, just not yet :)

Ooh, post a piccie of your shoes and clutch if you get a chance Kelly.

I wish I was joining you on a Cruise Kelly. We've got some snow due this weekend, so sailing the Caribbean would be just what the doctor ordered for me. I can't wait to hear all about your trip :thumbsup2

Wow Robin, your caravan is great. It's much bigger than our size caravans, it looks huge :thumbsup2 I think you're going to have a lot of fun (and comfort) in there :thumbsup2 When will your first trip in it be ?

.....................................

Becky's party went really well. They loved the tobogganing, I couldn't get over how cold it was in there. I hoped to take some photos in there, but as the session started they turned the lights off, put disco lights on and that was the end of that idea

Last night Paul & I checked into a hotel in Coventry. We went out for a lovely Italian meal. We had pate to start with, then Paul had a meat lasagne and I had the veggie lasagne (btw, I'm not a vegetarian - I just love veggie food), then to finish Paul had ice cream and I had a delish lemon trifle and it was all washed down with a bottle of wine. We had a couple of drinks in town but we didn't stay out too late.

This morning we had a full English breakfast, and then came home to a surprisingly tidy house, though the computers wouldn't work Thankfully Paul is a whizz when it comes to computers and we're all back on-line now

We haven't got any other plans for today - hopefully I'll just chill

Have a great day everyone, and I'll try and download some photos later

Robin, I hope they outgrow it soon! Won't be much longer before we kick them out of the house to start their own life, just kidding!;) But they will be all grown and doing their own thing before I know it!

I love the pics of the camper! How nice! That would be exactly what we would want to purchase... so now I envy you!:goodvibes :worship: Just make sure if you head towards my area, that you pick me up too!:rotfl: BTW... the pics were not a bore!:thumbsup2

Mandy, I'll gladly share a pic of my shoes and clutch...

I wish you guys were joining me too! I haven't joined the meet & mingle with RC since this is just CW & I. It may be a mistake, as we may bore each other terribly!! :rotfl2: I've still got a few more things to get, some capris and new flip flops! Now just to find the time to get to the mall..:rolleyes1

Glad Becky had a great party! Can't wait to see the pics! Sounds like you and Paul had a wonderful evening, I love lasagna... just can't spell it!

Kelly, I love your shoes and clutch, they'll look fab with that beautiful dress :thumbsup2

LOL, whenever me and Paul go out, all we end up talking about is the kids/WDW or the Cruise - I really must find another subject to talk about

I hope you find time to get to the mall, a girl can never have too many clothes :rotfl2: :rotfl2:

Thanks!!

How funny... that seems to be the same with CW & myself! Especially with this vacation coming up!

Don't worry, I will definately find time to get some shopping done! Chad has a soccer game in a couple of weeks that's two hours from home. Nearby that school is a very nice mall, I've already printed out directions from the mall to the school where he's playing! :rotfl2:

Mandy yes our caravans are much bigger over here.

It's the North American way you know:lmao:

Bigger, badder, better:rotfl2:

I don't know when we will use it but we have to get it home first.

I'm busy making a list of all the things that I will have to find to furnish it with necessary items.

You have an indoor tobagganing facility? I've never heard of that before:confused3 What is it like?

What exactly is included in an English breakfast?

Enquiring minds want to know all these things:rotfl:

I hope to get grandchildren too some day but I'm not holding my breath waiting. I think I could be waiting for quite some years to come but since my kids are almost 25 and 21 the chances are increasing all the time:goodvibes

Kelly love your new shoes. They will look great on you. I could never wear anything like that. It's just not me.

Now Liz, she loves to wear fancy dressy stuff.

Yesterday was the first time that I'd been to the Snowdome, and basically there is one huge indoor slope (my goodness it was cold in there). When we arrived there were skiing and snowboarding sessions on. Then the girls did their tobogganing, but you can also do tubing there too (like sitting in a huge rubber ring and sliding down the slope. When you get to the bottom of the slope, you jump on a moving walkway and it takes you back up to the top of the slope again

OK a full English breakfast is bacon, fried egg, sausages, tomatoes, baked beans, mushrooms, hash browns, toast, orange juice and a pot of tea - delish :thumbsup2

I hope that answers your questions Robin :rotfl2:

What are your plans for today ? :)

.

:rotfl2: That use to be the saying in the commercial for the National Enquirer!

I'm sure it'll happen! And you will have beautiful grandkids!

Thanks Robin!! Is Liz like me? I love to be casual as much as possible, but when it's time to go out on the town... I really love dressing up!

Mandy, I googled the snowdome and that looks pretty cool (and cold:scared: )!

How neat to have something like that in your area!:goodvibes

Thanks for all the answers Mandy.

I will have to check that Snowdome out online too.

Never ever heard of anything like that. Sounds like fun if you are into that thing (which I am not  )

Sounds like your full English breakfast is a lot like a full breakfast around here except for a few minor things, well really only one. You would not likely find baked beans on a breakfast menu here in North America.

Kelly, yes Liz sounds a lot like you. She is casual most of the time but she is fussy how she looks. She loves to dress up whenever she gets the chance to go out somewhere special. I think that is why she loves to cruise :thumbsup2

Yup, I'm sure that I will have the most beautiful grandchildren in the world :cool1: ........... doesn't everybody ;) :lmao:
