Betsy & Kelly - How are you ? What are you up to today ? I've got a very quiet day ahead of me - except at 12 noon (7am EST with you), I can ring WDW and make my ADR's for our Summer trip

Hey Girls

OMG, what a morning. I rang at a minute to 12, and the CM told me that I couldn't make my ADR's as he could only book arrivals up to 15th Aug (something to do with it being a Leap Year)

I didn't believe him, so I rang back and got the most wonderful CM who couldn't do enough for me

So I've got -

Tue 19th Princess Storybook Breakfast
Wed 20th Restaurant Marrakesh (dinner for just me and hubby)

We have the Norway's Princess storybook buff(only we are doing it for lunch)Did ya read that they just raised the prices???..Like they were'nt charging enough before...LOL,.....
and lets see...If I can remember without getting into my notebook...:

Mama Melrose, 50s PT, Restaurant Marrakesh,Yak & Yeti( I am very interested in trying this one, AK really needed a sitdown restaurant...)

I think thats it...We are going to do alot more CS places, this trip ....feeding five kids at the world is a little costly...

Well David had his Birthday party today....It was fun....I took some pics...Ill post a couple when I get them uploaded from my camera, I also have some cool pics of my new aquarium.. ..Ill work on it tomorrow...If I get the chance..

Thanks, I'm really happy with my ADR's Yes, I had heard that PSB had put it's prices up - but luckily with the free dining plan, it's only going to put up the price of my tip

I'm really looking forward to the free dining, but I'm just worried that I'm going to have to be rolled to the Disney Wonder afterwards

I look forward to your photos from David's birthday and of your aquarium

How are your Hawaii plans coming along ? Have you booked anything yet ?

Robin, didn't get to wish you well on your trip! Hope you are having lots of fun!!

Betsy, I look forward to seeing the pics!! Do you guys get the travel channel in your area? If you do, you ought to see the shows they have had about Hawaii! They are so neat to watch!

Mandy, that burns me up to call someone who is absolutely no help and then to call back again to get a totally different response! Next time, just put me on the phone with the fella and I’ll set him straight! I wanted to try Cinderella’s Royal Table Breakfast last year… maybe I’ll get my chance next time we are down!

We had a great weekend! After hearing from a couple of parents who spoke with the soccer facility about how the staff wanted to speak with us… I went up on Saturday to watch the game, and no one approached us.

We did have someone sit behind us to monitor our behavior, of course we acted the same… we cheered our team on and clapped when the other team scored as well!

I’m still going to contact the facility myself to set the record straight on our end! I found out that the parent who was causing the whole uproar told one of our kids while on the field that he was going to kick his *** after the game. I’m disappointed in the parents on that team for not having a backbone and letting him know he was dead wrong on that one.

As for now... no detention for me!!

I'm really looking forward to Cinderella's Royal Table, it should be fun, but I'm even more looking forward to breakfast with Lilo & Stitch. I loved this meal, I thought the Polynesian was the most wonderful resort ever (I really would love to stay there some day) and Stitch is so much fun

I'm pleased that you weren't put into detention, I can just see you giving those people a piece of your mind

Good very cold morning to you DWDQs,

Well , I have had one heck of a couple of days with my parent...
Mom just wont sit for even 5 mins...She has been pacing, and pacing..for the last 2 days ....She was even up during the night...

My friend asked me if we were going to need a nursing home soon....I said "YES, for ME!"...LOL
I HAVE to get out today.....
So Im going to bite the bullet, and go out shopping and pray she will be ok for awhile....
We DO have the house MOM proofed...we turn off the gas on the stove, and that kind of stuff....So she doesnt burn the house down.
My sister will be taking her this weekend so...Ill be able to have a day, to relax at least...I just have to make it until then...

I havent booked anything as yet...the prices for 09 are not out yet..so I couldnt even if I wanted too....
I am going to go to a couple of TAs in town, and let them know I will be doing a hawaii trip in 09, and let them show me what they can get for me...I hear they can normaly get better deals then I can get on my own...We will see....

...I shopped the Disneystore...on line...We dont have any open around here anymore So thats better then nothing I guess...
I Just got some pins during there pin sale for the girls trip....70% off!...Not bad ..I got free shipping too....
I see they are having a swim sale today with free shipping...Ill have to go check it out later....

So glad you didnt get into trouble,...I cant believe those other parents....Some parents, Have got to learn to GROW UP...and be a good example to their kids... ....
Im afraid kids sports can bring out the worst in some people....

My girlfriends boys were in football, most of there school years, and I was shocked by some of the things I heard that their COACH, said and did to them!

Right now, Im going to see if I can get Mom settled with a movie or something...
I sat down and colored with her yesterday...Got my picture done in about a 1/2 hour.....she didnt get much done at all, and then just got up and ...well .....you know!

When you go to WDW, is one of the family taking care of her while you're away ?

It really is heart breaking to see people you love change so much due to age or illness Lots of hugs to you all

Paul hasn't been well for about a week now, everyone at work has had the flu, but he's been going in anyway. Well this morning he was ill at work, and he had to come home. He's been in bed most of the day, but knowing him he'll have a very important meeting in the morning - and they'll be no one else to take the it - Men Huh ? !!

I'll be so glad when the Summer is here and we can forget about illnesses and the cold miserable weather - well for a while anyway

Betsy, I'm glad to see that you are making some time for yourself! You definately need a breather from time to time, it benefits mom as well! If you have a moment when you get home, the Travel Channel is showing Natural Wonders of Hawaii at 6 p.m. Relax while you watch, and let them take your mind on an early vacation to those tropical islands

Mandy, so sorry to hear Paul isn't feeling well! Sounds like you guys have the flu going around like we do here in the states! And yes... you can tell anyone who messes with ya that you've got Nutty Kelly watching your back!!

I did get out today...I met up with my son, on his lunch break....Then did a little shopping...Didnt buy much, but it was nice to just wonder around and check out the stores...I cant believe they are getting out the Easter stuff already..... ...Makes me feel like warmer weather is right around the corner..
Its just that its a really BIG corner...lol
I did see a flock of geese flying north last week.... ...But I think they were just confused...

Tell Paul that I hope he's feeling better soon .... ...

No, I don't watch AI, I don't watch the UK version either - I feel that these shows are all about the judges, and not so much the acts - I'm not a huge fan of Simon Cowell either

AI was good...I really like the last two guys that were on...We will just have to wait and see...
Im not a big fan of the judges, and I dont really like the shows that weed out all the nuts...
But I enjoy watching the show when they have the talented ones...and I like that the people do the picking now...I myself dont vote tho...I just like to see who the people like...I will normally agree with them...I think Simon can be a real, putz..and not so nice sometimes...BUT alot of times he's right...I really dont like Paula Abdule(sp)..Shes a little crazy herself

I'm doing great today!! Just getting things organized for our upcoming trip...

CW took me shopping for a formal dress, I was very shocked how upbeat he was the entire time. He went in 8 different stores and held the dresses for me while I picked out one I wanted to try on! He was very sweet!

Well The guys were on last night...The girls are on tonight...
As for the girls, I have a hard time remembering them until they get down to a few..
There is this one rocker gal, with a frosted streak in her hair..who has potential...BUT, she has to prove she can sing other types of songs too...right now she sings a great Janis Joplin...I want to hear a softer side tho, befor Ill say I like her...
Then there is a girl with very curly blond hair..I think has a very nice voice...But its still early yet....I dont think they have even shown all the singers yet...

Id love to join up with you all on a curise....
Ya just have to plan your cruises in the spring or fall....Or even the summer ...Then Id go.....I just cant go in the winter...

Except fot this year....or next........
UNLESS youd like to go to WDW in June, or Hawaii in Oct.-Sept. 09...

Kelly - that dress is gorgeous, you'll look lovely in it - make sure you take lots and lots and lots and lots (d'ya get the idea ) and lots of photos. I always feel so lucky when my friends complain that their hubby doesn't like shopping, as Paul is great if I'm on the hunt for a new outfit

As for a Cruise, I still have my fingers crossed to book your cruise when I'm on the Disney Wonder in the Summer (so I can get the discount and OBC), but I'm still in the wishing stage

Betsy - I would love to meet you in Hawaii but I think I'd need a lottery win for that trip. Have fun with your planning
