Hey ladies,....
Yep...Its only hrs until we leave...We should be leaving the house around 4AM for the airport..Our plane leaves @ 6AM...to Washington DC, then to SF, to Maui..We should land @ 3:45PM Maui time(9PM EST)...Got the kids house-sitting, and pup sitting
Ill be trying to post from there...but may not be able to get connected. , also on FB..So look for me.

I am taking both the grandmothers and Liz to see where Alex is living. Liz of course has been there several times but the grandparents have not.

Rick's dad opted out of the trip, so it's a girls only trip (except for Alex of course )

We are leaving Saturday morning and returning some time on Sunday.

Rick is off to the US for another airplane competition. It is Rick and two of his flying buddies, taking our trailer over and staying at the airplane field.

No special plans this weekend just the normal soccer games. Chad is no longer eligible to play on a U16 team... and since there were only two U18 teams that signed up, they couldn't have any games for that level. So needless to say, Chad is unhappy sitting on the sideline while CW coaches. He didn't like how the last team they played treated his team... he wanted to grab a jersey and go out to defend them.

All is very exciting over here. After talking ourselves out of taking the 15 night Panama Canal sailing to LA, Paul came home from work tonight and suggested that I phone up for a quote. I was only on hold for 5 minutes and within no time I had booked a Cat.6 (now reclassed as Cat. 5C) on deck 6 for Paul & I. We will board on my birthday (6th Jan) and we'll celebrate Paul's birthday on the 12th too

As you can tell I'm over-excited now

Yes indeed it was my birthday yesterday. Thank you for remembering

I did not do anything special other than go to my mom's for dinner.

I also went to dance classes.

Shortly after I woke up yesterday morning I started to have a pain that began in my neck and went down to under my shoulder blade on the right side.

That kind of put a damper on my day.

It is still there a bit this morning but somewhat better.

I managed to do my tap and hip hop class but I made sure that I moved carefully as much as possible.

Today I think I'm getting dressed and heading off to work to clear up my desk.

Mandy, color me green with envy!! Panama Canal... that's on my top 3 list of to dos!!! Take lots and lots of pics for me!! The pics I've seen look great and I hear how cool it is to pass thru the locks. Btw... way to get a good start to Christmas

Hello ladies.

I've been over 24 hours without the internet and I'm about to do this

I miss my internet.

Isn't it amazing how much we are dependent on it for so many different parts of our daily life

Now that the internet works, my computer does not

I don't know what's wrong with it but I've taken over Rick's computer for a bit.

Tomorrow is the 120 day point before my cruise and I want to try and book Palo and my parasailing excursion tonight if I'm still up at midnight

Yes I did manage to book a Palo brunch and a parasailing excursion.

I looked at Palo dinner but I didn't book any yet.

There were a lot of times available for dinner but only two for brunch

They must only release a few times.

The time I got was 10:30 but I would have preferred closer to noon. Maybe I will keep checking back in case something else opens up.

All is quiet over here, we didn't get up to much over the weekend and nothing exciting has been happening this week (sadly)
