I didn't know there was a Walmart close to there.

I will have to look it up because it would be very handy.

I like to look in Target sometimes too but a SuperWalmart is good for getting food.

When you were in Scarborough you weren't all that far away from me.

I'm a bit under 3 hours from there.

I first went to Disney when I was 18 with my parents and my younger brothers. That was in 1975 I believe. We went to the Magic Kingdom too but I don't think there was much more to Disney at the time than that.

Good Morning everyone,
Well after a couple of good frosts and a few rainy/windy days there are no more pretty leaves left on the trees here..
It was a very short fall color wise!

I have been so busy with work..I have been asked to write up a monthly newsletter..Its fun, and I finally have the Oct. one 99.9% done...( being the first we will be sending it out late this month) The others will hopefully be out by the first week of every month
Id share, but I'm not sure how to post it...Its two pages..and a PDF file.
BUT, if any one is interested in seeing it..PM me your E-mail address, and Ill send it along when it goes out to our clients.

I'm also excited that we are invited to a big Halloween party (at my bosses house) this year!...The only thing is ...I now have to figure out good costumes for Mike and I, that wont cost a ton...We also will have to dress up for work, but that ones easy..Im going to put on mouse(not Mickey)ears and a black belt for my tail, with black shirt and pants. It has to be simple as I have to be able to work...

So far today, I have gotten up, had breakfast, put the recycling out to the road and filled the dishwasher.

I think Paul & I will pop to the wine bar tonight, but other that that, we haven't got anything planned

Betsy ~ The Halloween party sounds like lots of fun. The girls will be dressing up and having some friends round on the 30th, but on the 31st we're going to see Pink, and we're really looking forward to seeing her again. What's the newsletter for ? I must get round to sending you my email address

Kelly ~ How's Chad & Carolin ? What have they been up to lately ?

Hi all! Sorry haven't posted in a while... we had to fly out to Seattle for a business trip. We left Tuesday and I've been missing home badly.

Chad left school early on Thursday with flu-like symptons... he called me around 7 a.m. and left a message on my cell phone that he was driving himself home and that he was ok. I called the school nurse to see what symptons he was showing and she said he was one out of 19 sent home in two hours...

Carolin called me Thursday evening to tell me she was feeling really bad and that her friend had just come from the dr and tested positive for h1n1... Carolin says she's showing same symptons as her friend so my sis picked both Chad & Carolin up to take care of them at her house (my DFIL had been staying nights at the house since we've been gone).

Today Chad's feeling better but Carolin's still not any better... we fly home tomorrow, can't get there fast enuff.

Hope you all are doing well and everyone is feeling good and healthy... Enjoy your weekend!! I'll chat more when I get home! Miss you guys!

I hope you've all had a nice weekend. We had a quiet one, and only went out Saturday night for a yummy all-you-can-eat Chinese meal

Yesterday we popped to see Paul's aunt, then watched the Formula 1, where Brit Jenson Button won the World Championship - Yay !!!

So, what did you get up to this weekend ?

Thanks gals! We arrived back home home safely Saturday night and I tended to Carolin yesterday... she's much better today. Chad has been feeling great since Saturday

My poor neice went to the dr. today and tested positive for h1n1... she's pretty miserable. I wish they would go ahead and shut down the school, there are so many kids coming down with both seasonal and swine flu.

How is everyone's family doing? Are you all getting excited about your upcoming trip?

Today was our 30th wedding anniversary.

My mom brought this over for me tonight. It's really cool because I like to collect teapots.

Hiya!!

Good news, my neice is feeling much better! Hopefully she'll be able to cheer tomorrow night in the competition Carolin is excited and nervous while getting everything ready for their routines! I hope to catch some good pics to post... but... I've heard how high they are throwing her and I'm not sure I can focus on getting those pics.

Robin, not many more days of mowing the lawn!! The grass has finally started to slow down so we can cut it every other week almost!

Mandy, how are the girls doing? School keeping them busy? Please tell them we said hello! Hope you had a great day in town!

I did manage to get the lawn done this afternoon.

I dont' remember the last time I cut it.

I'm kinda, sorta lazy that way

It was long but not overly long but I bet I hadn't cut it in a month or more.

Hopefully this is the last time for this year.

You lucky duck!! If I could wait to cut the grass a month I would! The grass would be sooo tall it would look like you've stepped outside into the rainforest!

Fingers crossed for it being the last time! I think we'll have one more time after this one and that'll be it!

We've had a fairly cool/cold fall so the grass has not being growing all that quickly.

They finish today for a week, but I know Kerry will be busy with filming with her friends over the next week. Becky seems to be enjoying her photography too. How are Carolin and Chad getting on ?

Well, tomorrow Paul & I are going to a wedding, then in the evening we're going to see Spandau Ballet in concert. Do you remember them ? They were really big in the 80's with Duran Duran and the Human League. It should be a good concert
