LOL Kelly - I can honestly say that if it was up to me (which unfortunately it isn't), then I'll be booking this on next Summer's Cruise so that I can get the re-booking discount

I'll be pushing Paul to make a decision when we're onboard, and my main arguement will be that it'll be the last time that Kerry will be classed as a child and be able to attend the Teen Club (as she'll be 18 at the end of Jan '09)

Fingers Crossed eh ??

Mandy :)

Fingers definately crossed!! Throw the girls in on this too!!:rotfl2: Carolin will be able to go to the teen club by that time!! She was sooo disappointed not being able to hang out with everyone last time!

Kelly, don't worry there are plenty of work things that I could do if I wanted to do them. Tons of laundry here too. I'd much rather come and do your laundry though. Work seems a lot less like work when it's not your own that you are doing ;)

I don't know if I would be able to convince Rick to sail in Jan 09. We do tend to sail every January though (7 out of our 8 Disney cruises have been in January). Since January of 2000 we have only missed sailing in January of 2003  Sailed twice in 2002 though, January and August.

:lmao: I'm sure you would change you mind quickly after smelling someone's socks after football practice!:rotfl:

:wizard: I hope you guys can come too!!!:wizard: :wizard: You may have to break down and rub Rick's feet, right??? :lmao:

You guys take care!! I'm heading out for a meeting in Virginia Beach! Wish I could sneak off to the beach....:tiptoe: :beach: :rotfl:

Bye :grouphug:

Morning all

I can't believe it's Wednesday all ready, this week is flying by quickley

Kelly, I hope your meeting went well and you got home safely

Have a great day

Mandy :)

Morning Mandy.

Unfortunately it seems that ALL the weeks fly by anymore :guilty:

It's going to be a very hot day here today.

Well the temperature isn't going to be so bad, but the humidity is.

Have a great day everyone.

Hey all!!!

Made it back safely from the meeting! CW and the kids rode with me and hung out around the area til I got done. He suprised us all by heading over to Busch Gardens for a quick visit.

We didn't realize that is closed so early that day:rolleyes: It was still nice to go... I stilled chickened out... just can't bring myself to ride the Griffon!!:sad2:

I agree, the week is flying by! I'm not looking forward to school starting again... the weather's not too bad! Alot cooler than earlier in the week, it looks like this weekend we'll have beautiful weather for our Labor Day weekend:love:

:grouphug:

Hey Girls

Woohoo !! I've just spent most of the afternoon on the Internet, and I've sorted out next Summer's holiday

We're going from 16th/30th August, staying at the Caribbean Beach Resort for 8 nights with the Free Disney Dining Plan, then we've got our 4 night Cruise, and when we get off the Disney Wonder, we're staying 2 nights at the Hard Rock Hotel

We've never stayed at the CBR or HRH before, so this will be fun to try somewhere new and I'm really looking forward to the 'Front of the Line' at Universal too

:yay: I can't wait, I'm so excited:yay:

Mandy :)

p.s. Kelly, glad your day went well and that you managed to get to Busch Gardens. I'm sure that one day you'll be brave enough to go on that big ride

p.p.s. Have a lovely day everyone

Mandy glad to hear that you have your plans made to your satisfaction.

The only disney property we have stayed at is the POP Century.

When Liz and I go in September we are staying offsite again. I love being on the property but the savings by staying offsite are just to great to ignore, even with getting a rental car.

Kelly, I would have been a big ol chicken right there beside you :scared: I don't usually go for the big rollercoaster type rides. Rock N Roller coaster I have done once and that is once too many for me:eek:

Morning Betsy. Is it lunch day again today? Who are you going with today?

This weekend Alex comes home from summer camp. He will technically living at home for the next year but he will be going to college 3 hours away. The first semester he only has classes on Monday and Tuesday so he is thinking of doing a combination of staying in that city for acouple of nights and coming home for the rest of the week.

After Christmas his schedule will change, so he will have to figure that one out later.

It will be different (and noisier) having him home, again. He is a messy guy and he walks real heavy :rotfl:

He's good to talk to though, so there are some benefits to having him around:rotfl2:

Have a good day everyone.

You guys are going to have a blast next summer! What is the Free Disney Dining Plan? Did that come with a package?

How is everyone's day so far? Any special plans this weekend?

We have a pretty busy weekend coming up. Carolin has invited 8 girls to come "camp out" at our house tommorrow nite:eek: The girls all wanted to invite a boy with them to hang out for a bonfire... CW took care of that very quickly:lmao:

Morning Kelly, you are up and about early this morning :sunny:

No boys for the campfire:confused3

You guys are no fun at all :duck: :lmao:

You and CW could have gone and sat out there right in the middle of them all and asked a bunch of embarassing questions :cool1:

I bet they wouldn't ask you to do that again any time soon

Have fun with all of your girls.

HEY, where did my countdown ticker go :headache:

Whoever stole it better put it back RIGHT now

I sure hope it shows back up soon.

Hi Girls

I hope you're having a great day

Robin - I bet you're happy that Alex is going to be home for a while, what will he be doing at college ?

Betsy - Have a lovely lunch day

What is the Free Disney Dining Plan? Did that come with a package?

Kelly - the 2008 Free Disney Dining Plan is currently open to just the UK for the next month or so, and is for arrivals from mid August to late September. You have to stay at a Moderate or Deluxe Resort and buy tickets too. Fom what I've read the Free DDP is offered on general release around April or May for the same arrival dates (though I could be wrong). Here's more info

http://adisneyworld.disney.go.com/m...agespecific/eng/nontheme/tickets/08Dining.pdf

So we should get 1 counter service meal, 1 table service meal and 1 snack each. So at the moment I am reading up on the restaurant forums all about it, though I can imagine that we will probably stick to Character breakfasts and dinner like Chef Mickey's, Breakfast with Lilo & Stitch, Princess Storybook breakfast, perhaps dinner at the Rose & Crown and I'd really like to try Raglan Road at DTD too

Good luck with the girls 'camp out', it sounds like fun, but I could just imagine Paul's face if my lot wanted to invite some boys too :rotfl: they'd have no chance

Anyway have a lovely day everyone

Mandy :)

Thanks for the info on the Free Dining! I'll have to check that out! I want to stay onsite the next time we go... it looks sooo beautiful! I think it's the Contemporary??:confused3 I'm just learning things outside of the park, newbie still:rotfl: :sad2:

Uh-oh!! Paul sounds like CW... he's already prepared Carolin for her first date (at 35 he says). "Be ready for dad to sit in the middle up front between the two of you" is what he told her! The look on her face was priceless... I'm sure there's a good MasterCard commercial for this;)

35 ?? Why so young ?? Paul wants the girls to meet their partners when they go off on their Senior Citizens outing (which isn't a good plan, cos there's a good chance Paul won't be around by then) :rotfl2: :rotfl2: :rotfl2:

BTW Robin - everyone is being frisked looking for your ticker

Thanks everyone for looking out for my ticker:thumbsup2

It still shows when I check my signature stuff but it doesn't show when I post:confused3

Mandy, Alex is going back to school for one year to become an Advanced Level Paramedic. He is already a paramedic and can work as one for as long as he likes. The extra year allows more responsibility like starting IV's and intubating for airways in the field or in the ambulance. So more capabilities equals a higher payscale.

Just got back from lunch... I ate a stinking salad... I'm making sure I fit in my dress for this April:guilty:

I see everyone is still looking for the ticker! And I saw a cute smilie!!

You guys are hilarious:lmao: :lmao:

Oooh, have you got a piccie of your dress Kelly ?

I started my diet on Monday (though this is for Christmas), it's my weigh-in day tomorrow, so I hope I've lost a pound or so

Keep up the good work

Mandy :)

That sounds like a really interesting course Robin. Alex has got a very important and worthwhile job, will he be working while he is studying too ?

Mandy :)

It's the same dress I wore on the Wonder!

I can see if I can find a pic though... it was a very comfortable dress, even if I had to wear double sticky tape:rolleyes1
