I thought I was the only one who tried to cram too much in one day on trips!! Nice to know I'm not alone:lmao:

 Pass on the banana dance to Kerry!!! Give her hugs from us and tell her Congrats:thumbsup2

  Woohoo!! It's nearly the weekend:banana:

Has anyone got anything nice planned for the weekend ?

We're heading to a shopping mall on Sunday, so Kerry can spend her 'exam results' money, but other than that, we haven't got anything else planned

:yay: :yay: I'm feeling a bit excitable today:yay: :yay: cos it's 1 year today till we get our next Disney Cruise and 4 months today it will be Christmas Eve :santa:

Have a great weekend girls

Mandy :)

Morning everyone.

I might be going away again for the weekend. There is another airplane competition that I might go to.

I'm waiting to hear from the lady who we stay with. Her daughter in England is expecting a baby any day now and she might have to go back to England.

She probably won't be going this weekend anymore now because she told her daughter if she is gone away for the weekend that she will be coming the next week.

It doesn't really matter to her how quickly she gets there because it is her daughters third baby and she figures that she will need the help more after the initial "excitement" of the birth. When everyone has gone back to their lives and she is left to deal with 3 small children, then she will appreciate her mom's help more.

So, that being said, I'm probably gone for the weekend.

Woohoo!!! I'm glad it's Friday too!!

Mandy, have fun shopping this weekend!!! Are you heading out on the 5 nite Sept 1 cruise next year? And did I read that right... 4 months until Christmas eve??? My... time is flying by!!!

Robin, hope you have a great time at the competition!! Good luck to Rick!

We are going to a football game tonight (the varsity team plays, Chad's on junior varsity so they have to attend as well). Tommorrow we will head to the mall for back to school shopping then Chad has a 5 pm soccer game.

Nothing exciting... but... life is good and I'll take that;)

Hey Girls

Just a quick note to say that tonight Paul decided that it would be nice to go away for the night while we're out shopping. So after a quick search on the internet we've found a hotel in Manchester (which has a great shopping centre) for us, the girls and one of their friends - I can't wait till tomorrow -see ya Sunday

Have a great weekend everyone

Mandy :)

p.s. Have fun at the airplane competition Robin

p.p.s. No Kelly, Our Cruise is the 24th/28th '08 Aug Disney Wonder (though we did think about doing the 5 night Disney Magic Cruise)

Byeeeee :)

Paul's the man!!! I still say he should give a course on "how to treat your lady" :rotfl:

Hope all of you have a great time!!

:grouphug:

Morning everyone,

Well If Im reading right...
Its only Kelly Im saying Good Morning to.....

GOOD MORNING KELLY!:goodvibes
Hows your weekend plans.....

We are suppose to go and pull wood that was cut last year out of our woods and start stacking for the winter, BUT
ITS SOOOO HOT HERE...AND VERY HUMID....
Im not sure Im up to it.....It has to be the hottest its been all summer....:sunny:

I am getting very excited about our meet...
Not only will I be meeting PrincessaC(Cally), But now Ann, and Robin, and MAYBE even Sue!....and Robin, is bringing Liz,(Shes a great girl, very fun!)
Also into nursing like Cally and of course Sue! so they will have something to talk about...besides Disney of course!LOL

I may not be wearing a costume, for MNSSHP, as I have been lazy, and not done a thing to make it yet....
I am sooo worried about the costumes I got for the boys(Peter, and Edmond, from Narnia) being too hot for them,...the top is of a heavy material...and it has shoes covers that are like "pleather"...and they go up to there knees....
Ohhhh I hope we have a cooler night that night....:wizard:

I think I better come up with a back up just in case....:confused3 Im not sure what yet...:confused3

Anyway...I hope you have a good weekend!...

TTFN.:wave2:..

The kids are asking me to send a big hello to everyone and that they miss you guys!

Have a great weekend all!:grouphug:

Hello there fellow cruisers.

The weary traveller is back home again :thumbsup2

It was another successful weekend except the near tornado weather we drove thru on the way there Friday night and the rain storms on Saturday morning;)

The rest of the weekend went just great.

Rick got 2nd again :sad2:

Always the bridesmaid and never (well not often) the bride:rotfl2:

Nice dress Mandy.

None of that stuff ever looks good on me :guilty:

Hey, Kelly, hope you had a great weekend.

Betsy, I've got grass that needs cutting too. Want to send Mike over :rolleyes1 It only takes about 45 minutes to cut pushing the lawn mower. It would be a real treat for him to cut :teeth:

Good Morning!....
I have to clean, clean, CLEAN...today...
I have company coming on Wed. for lunch and an afternoon visit...AND I have an appt. to go to tomorrow,...
So this is the day I have to get weekend cleaning done...and the rest too!...

Hey Girls

It sounds like you all have had great weekends

Robin - tell Rick 'Well Done' on getting 2nd place again, hopefully that 1st prize will come very soon. When is your next weekend away ?

Betsy - It sounds like you had a good time with your grandkids. My girls go back to school/college a week on Wednesday. Kerry has her interview/enrollment at college tomorrow, so that she can choose her subjects

Kelly - How did you get on with your school shopping trip ? Did you get everything you needed ? I hope that Chad did well in his soccer game. Sending a big 'HI' back to Chad and Carolin

Have a great day

Mandy :)

Morning everyone.

So far it looks to be a lovely week here weather wise. Temps in the mid to upper 70's and no rain forecasted :thumbsup2

Rick is always happy to get any placement that is in the top 3 of the group. He is always so close to first but most of the time can't quite get there.

Mandy, my next official planned weekend away is the Florida trip at the end of September. That being said there is a competition the weekend before somewhere in Indiana that Rick wants to go to. I'm not sure if I would be going with him or not for that one.

As soon as I get motivated I promise I will post you some airplane pictures. I promised to do that about a month ago and haven't gotten to it yet.

I will be home alone for most of the weekend, so maybe I can get it done then.

Gorgeous dress Mandy!! Love it!! I haven't bought anything yet but I am making my Christmas list:lmao: I want a new camera, and I've been dropping hints left and right to CW! Not sure if he's getting them though:rolleyes:

Robin... glad you guys made it home safely thru the bad weather:thumbsup2 Sorry that Rick couldn't grab that top spot, still tell him congrats on placing 2nd! :goodvibes

Betsy... I would love to see the pics of Herbie!! I love birds, my favorite is the African Gray... maybe one day I'll get one:love:

Shopping was great, but writing those checks.... :headache: ! The kids are getting very picky about what they wear, American Eagle and Hollister were really the only spots they wanted to shop!

CW took Chad to the game, I couldn't sit and watch this one... it was 100 degrees outside!:scared1: They had to take a player away in the ambulance due to heat exhaustion, they made out ok... didn't win this one either!

We watched "The Simpsons Movie", I really didn't want to see it but everything else had already started. It was ok, alot better than I thought it would be...

Hope everyone has a great day! I'll chat with ya later!:grouphug:

Good morning ladies.

Have a great day.

I have no idea yet what I'm doing today but I'm sure that I will find tons of things to do.

The lawn definitely needs mowing

Morning girls

I hope it's nice where you are, it has been so cloudy here today with the temperatures struggling to get into the 70's, so nowhere near your 100 degrees Kelly (though I would be melting in that heat - poor Chad having to play soccer in it)

I am currently driving myself bonkers trying to sort out next Summer's holiday. We are thinking of taking up the free Disney Dining plan that is being offered to those of us in the UK. We may do 8 nights at the Caribbean Beach Resort (Aug 16th/24th) then our Cruise (Aug 24th/28th) and then have two nights at the Hard Rock Hotel at Universal (Aug 28th/30th) which all sounds great, but the prices for flights are just so high. Hopefully I'll get something booked soon

Have a great day,whatever you're doing

Mandy :)

Morning gals!!

I'm dragging today! I woke up at 5 a.m. to catch the eclipse... pretty neat! I could lay in bed and see it out of our bedroom window.:goodvibes

Robin> Have fun mowing the lawn today!! I've got alot of laundry if you can't find anything else to do...;) :rotfl:

Mandy> Whatever you do just make sure you have enough left over for that Jan 09 sail::lmao: What you've posted sounds like a great plan!!:thumbsup2
Betsy> Hope your having a great Tuesday!!

I'm still hoping that somehow we can all get together on this one! It's plenty time to start saving uppixiedust:

Have a great day all!!:grouphug:

LOL Kelly - I can honestly say that if it was up to me (which unfortunately it isn't), then I'll be booking this on next Summer's Cruise so that I can get the re-booking discount

I'll be pushing Paul to make a decision when we're onboard, and my main arguement will be that it'll be the last time that Kerry will be classed as a child and be able to attend the Teen Club (as she'll be 18 at the end of Jan '09)

Fingers Crossed eh ??

Mandy :)

Good luck with your planning Mandy.

I hate booking flights because everytime I look at the prices they are different. I think, oh that's a great price and I book it and the next week it is lower:headache:

If I were brave enough to wait, I know that the prices go down the closer it gets to the date..... as long as there is space on the flight that is.

Kelly, don't worry there are plenty of work things that I could do if I wanted to do them. Tons of laundry here too. I'd much rather come and do your laundry though. Work seems a lot less like work when it's not your own that you are doing ;)

I don't know if I would be able to convince Rick to sail in Jan 09. We do tend to sail every January though (7 out of our 8 Disney cruises have been in January). Since January of 2000 we have only missed sailing in January of 2003  Sailed twice in 2002 though, January and August.
