You live in a very pretty area.

About an hour ago it was snowy just like a big old blizzard here.

Liz and I had just gone into Blockbusters and the sun was shining. Turned around and looked out the window and you couldn't see for the snow coming down.

Didn't last long though.

Still snowing just as hard...and its a heavy snow....Mike cant get the snow blower to work....So we had to call someone to come and plow our driveway...We are in the cue, they will get to us when they can

Did anyone get anything nice ? We don't 'do' Valentines Day, but Paul did give me the money for the deposit on our next trip to WDW. We'll be stopping at the Pop Century on 13th/27th July - and I can't wait, I am so excited

I dont drive in the snow anymore either...I smashed up a 3/4 ton truck...
I found out that snow tires mean NOTHING on icy roads....and lost control and smashed into another car coming (way too fast IMO) the other way.....I was only going 30..or less..DIDNT matter...both the truck and the car were totaled...No one was hurt badly THANK GOD....The dash ended up in my lap and I had to fight to get to the passenger door...But I got myself out and by then people were there to help....I remember just sitting there crying in the snow.....I was told later that there were MANY crashes happening all over town, But That did it for me...when it snows I stay home... ...

Poor thing! That experience was way worst than mine Glad you weren't hurt badly!

I loved looking at your pics. My favorite ones were of Albert snoozing and the snow falling in the woods! What does Albert think of the snow?

Hey Robin! How's everyone doing? When you fly down for your cruise is it a straight flight or any stops along the way?

If ever at Norfolk International let me know, I'm in that area from time to time. If you have a short while to wait for your next flight, maybe we could meet up!

Well, today being Valentine's Day, CW got me roses and a BIG balloon that plays "Wild Thing"! He brought it in and tug on the string to the balloon, my face turned red... we had customers on the phone Mom and dad gave me a pink rose!

We are flying nonstop from Detroit to Orlando.

Well I was watching the weather this morning and I saw 60 degree weather pop in our 10 day forecast Fingers crossed, eyes closed...... I can't wait for warmer weather

I've just got off the phone to WDW and I've made my one (and only) ADR for this trip, on 19th July we are having breakfast with Lilo & Stitch again at the Poly. It's EMH at the Magic Kingdom that day (8am start) and breakfast is at 10.30am, so we can have an hour or so at MK, have a lovely meal and then roll ourselves back to the Pop to recover

Nope we are not snowed in Mandy.

We have enough snow but they managed to get it all nicely plowed and taken care of.

Our local Wendy's restaurant burned down this morning. I could see the smoke from my house and we're a couple miles away.

Actually busy day for fires, 2 other major fires happened today in different parts of the area.

Not sure of the DVD's that were rented last night, Liz picked them out. We didn't watch them because we ended up with company last night.

We've had a busy morning here, the girls have been off school this week for half term, so we went shopping this morning as it's Becky's birthday next month, she did really well and picked up some nice jeans, a top, ear-rings, Betty Boop pyjama set and Britney Spears perfume - I've just got to get her some $$ for our trip in the Summer and then she's got everything she wants for her 14th birthday

I also weighed myself and was happy to see that I'd lost another 2 lbs - woohoo !!

Has anyone got anything nice planned for the weekend ? We haven't, the girls will get any homework finished off for Monday and that's about it
