Good job mister! I did order our FE because I am talent challenge....We had the Palo Brunch on the Key West day but for some reason when we were upgrade they removed our reservation, so I am hoping to get it once we board the ship, they say there is some spots left on purpose for the people that doesn't do internet...

PM me ur email address so I could send you the list. :)

Woman, still using my DS computer and the Excel program is not working, I can see the list but I can not add, if is not to much trouble can you update me sometime next week or whenever we have a total count? you are doing a great job with this list! thank you again

Hi everyone!! I haven't posted on this thread in a long time because once the FE conversation got started, I didn't really want to be involved in that....TOO MUCH for me to do with the wedding and WDW before the cruise. If it wasn't for that, I would definitely participate but I didn't need one more thing to prepare. :bride:

Anyway, I was able to make magnets for our door today, the DCL name tags from ImTooExcitedToSleep with our names on them, Nikki and Tom. We're in 7092 so if you see us coming or going, please say hi!

Soooo close now!!

That is so coool! when is the wedding? did you consider the Spa Villas Romantic getaway? it sounds good, but no cheap still I read some postings and people is for the most part very happy.

OK, I'm trying to finish things up this weekend like most of you..........I counted and I come up with 36 adults and 37 children and 1 grandmother.

I didn't do the break down for girls vs boys, as my gift is suitable for both.

Anyone else do a count? I did include the new family "MarchDreamer" in my count.....welcome!

As for the other new family who is asking about fish extenders........it's a little gift giving that dismeet groups participate in. If you look back in our meet thread you will see a link explaining how it is all done and a picture of what a Fish Extender looks like. People will hang their "fish extender" (which is a wall hanging with pockets on it) outside their door. Fellow disers will then place small gifts in the pockets of it. Welcome to our thread!

I had to do the break down for boys and girls since I got different stuff!!! just complicating myself.

Just read on another trhead that DCL organize a 5k in Castaway Cay, does anyone has a clue about this info? don't remember this from the last cruise but it would be fantastic to tour the island by foot!!! as a matter of fact they said (in the other thread) that you are able to get off the ship earlier, before the rest of the people! it will be so cool!!!!

Do I have ur email address? If not, PM it to me, I will send you a copy of the spreadsheet.

Hi my3m: :wave:did you get my PM? Just had a look back through the last several pages of threads. I come up with roughly 25 Staterooms? Would be grateful to get the official list so we don't miss out on anyone. I guess today is the deadline for signup? :confused3

2 weeks today! :cool1::cheer2::yay::dance3:

I made it in under the deadline! :yay:
I just ordered a fish extender off of Ebay. I don't think DH & I will make it to Palo. We want to make sure DD likes the Oceaneer Lab! The FE 'club' sounds like some trick-or-treating on the high seas!
I'll watch the board for the finalized list in the next day or 2.
I need a vacation! :beach:

Hi I just saw this post over on the main boards and thought some of the new families who just joined the FE exchange, might enjoy reading.

Some of the gifts we've received have totally overwhelmed me. There are some crafty people out there!

Hand made photo frames, hanging things (could be used as Christmas tree ornaments), magnets, CDs of cruise music all personalized with the cruise dates, DCL, etc.

Other stuff: a small box of chocolates famous in the giver's home town, many types of candies or munchies, pens, pencils, small notebooks, highlighters (good for Navigators), light sticks, bracelets, glow in the dark stuff, pirate tattoos, pirate "stuff" (swords, eye patches, bandanas, rings, gold, etc). Bubble gum shaped as pirate coins, Hershey bar with DCL photo label slid over normal label, princess stuff, little box of "cruise emergency supplies (bandaids, stain remover, etc.) lip gloss, tiny container of sun screen, crayons, folders from giver's hometown college, booklet of cruise recipes, (can get recipes from several on line sites), map of cruise route, booklet of hidden mickeys, small box of laundry soap, small rum or other alcohol bottles, etc.

The typical cost I'd put at something in the range of $1-2 per person or $5 per cabin....it can be as simple as a small ziplock bag of "penny" candies or as complex as the frames! For purchases, I tend to look at "after holiday" sales for anything pirate or Disney themed. Check dollar stores for things that come in "multiples" like 10 pencils, 5 pens, etc, split them up and put together a goodie bag of princess pencil, pen, and notebook. Look for things intended as party favors--boxes of 6 Pooh crayons in a multi pack.

It's way more about the fun than the money!

Is anyone doing any of the wine / beer / margerita / martini tastings? :cool1::woohoo: I suspect you will see us at 1x or more of the wine tastings, and maybe a beer tasting or two; but suspect that we'll be giving the martini tasting a miss. :rolleyes1 You would probably need to ask the DW why. :rotfl2:

We are hoping to get into a beer/margarita tasting too. Not so big on the wine or martinis though.[/QUOTE]

When are those tastings?

Hi
If you are interested in doing any of the tastings I would go to guest services and sign up on the first or second day. I think they are 15.00 a person. The times will be listed in the daily navigators, which is the newsletter you receive each evening telling you what will be happening the next day. But if you ask at Guest Services for the ones you are interested in, they can tell you the day and times and you can then sign up.

Forgive me, as I don't remember if this is your first cruise or your first cruise with DCL.......but there is also a galley tour, (kitchen) and it's free, but you have to be 18 and over. You can sign up for this at guest services also

Another thing that is fun to do is to drop off a photo mat with markers (sharpies) to guest services. They will have all the characters sign it for you and it will be returned to your stateroom on the last night. OR you can drop off a pillow case and have that signed or anything else you might think of........I know some people make up autograph books and drop off the pages from the book to have the characters sign them and then on the facing page they place a picture of the character.

Yes, this is our family's first cruise with DCL. It is our DD's first cruise ever!

Thank you for the additional information!

Wow Moet...that is some great information. Thank you:thumbsup2

The wedding is one week from today, the 18th...then we leave early the next morning for a week in WDW before going on to the cruise! Not really interested in the romance packages. Too much money. Neither of us have ever done anything tropical or cruise-like before so I think just the experience of the cruise, on top of our excursion, will be way enough.
