Excursions planned:

Grand Cayman-Island tour (visit turtle farm) and also stingray snorkel

Cozumel-Dolphin Push, Pull, and Swim

Looks as if this cruise is now full up!

I see people have planned so many reservations and excursions! We have such busy lives I've planned just 2. (Grand Cayman & Cozumel) I have dreams of reading books by the pool sipping something fruity and doing as little as possible! (am I nuts?)

We haven't even finish our excursions, but it will be Dolphin Encounter in Cozumel and Stingray and Island tour in GC, we also reserved directly with them and saved some money there, we looked into renting one of the Spa Villas but they go for almost $500 and that is a little to much, my DH said we save that one for our 25 year anniversary cruise, 19 years from now!!! welcome and relax, this is going to be fun!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! blessings

OK, I'm trying to finish things up this weekend like most of you..........I counted and I come up with 36 adults and 37 children and 1 grandmother.

I didn't do the break down for girls vs boys, as my gift is suitable for both.

Anyone else do a count? I did include the new family "MarchDreamer" in my count.....welcome!

As for the other new family who is asking about fish extenders........it's a little gift giving that dismeet groups participate in. If you look back in our meet thread you will see a link explaining how it is all done and a picture of what a Fish Extender looks like. People will hang their "fish extender" (which is a wall hanging with pockets on it) outside their door. Fellow disers will then place small gifts in the pockets of it. Welcome to our thread!

Ok...I finally finished our FE. It is a no-sew version, cause I am a guy and would only hurt myself. How do I post images on this post? Z-Crew is really getting excited. I will post our plans later as I have got to get to work.

Thank you! This is our first cruise as a family. My DH went on a cruise before we met and I went on one when I was 17. We are just happy to be going on such a fun cruise line and to be able to meet people. What are we supposed to give for gifts with the FE and how many? Do we do gifts for just the kids or adults as well?

By the way, does anyone going on this trip play National Mahjong? I would bring my set with me if I thought anyone plays.

As far as gifts go, "anything" goes. It's all for fun.....some give to each person in the family while others give just one gift per stateroom. The idea isn't to spend a ton of money, but to just give a little something.

If you do a search on the cruise boards, there is a thread with all kinds of ideas and pictures of things that people have given.

Some give Disney items, example: pencils, stickers. etc. some give snacks or anything small that you can buy in bulk from Oriental Trading like bubbles or glow necklaces. The dollar area at Target is another good place to find things........some people make magetics and frames along with oranaments. it's really up to you as no gift is ever to little!

have fun with it and don't stress over it, like I said it's just all for fun!

Hi everyone!! I haven't posted on this thread in a long time because once the FE conversation got started, I didn't really want to be involved in that....TOO MUCH for me to do with the wedding and WDW before the cruise. If it wasn't for that, I would definitely participate but I didn't need one more thing to prepare.

Anyway, I was able to make magnets for our door today, the DCL name tags from ImTooExcitedToSleep with our names on them, Nikki and Tom. We're in 7092 so if you see us coming or going, please say hi!
