7 month window for 04/10

Kind of random, although what do you think the chances of getting a 1 brm at 7 months for BCV,BWV,VWL? This would be presidents day week vacation. Home is SSR, and would like to stay at a different one this time.

I was able to stay at Boardwalk in a studio Pool/Garden view last Presidents Day weekend. I called about 3 months in advance and went on a waitlist for Boardwalk or Beach Club, any view, and a studio or one bedroom. The waitlist came through within a few weeks.I own at Wilderness so my choices were not my home resort.

I think you will have a good chance for Wilderness or Boardwalk.Beach Club seems to be the hardest to get into under 7 months,no matter what time of year!!
I am sure others can share their experiences as well though I think you have a good chance. Call right at 7 months and go on a waitlist if nothing is available.

I would book at your home resort (SSR) so you definitely have a backup plan. Then, you can waitlist as mentioned above, and move your ressie to another resort if it becomes available. Out of the 3 you mentioned, I think BWV preferred view (not Boardwalk view nor Standard) will be your best possbility. Good luck!

Thank you, that is what I guessed. We have THV booked now, but plans have changed and will not need the extra room.

Patriots Day is usually the same wk as many east coast school vacations, so you'll be competing w/ those folks. Book SSR, then at 7mths try the resorts you want. Since you're flexible where you want to stay, I think you'll get one of those. We got VR at 7mths this April and it was during Easter, but it was stressful and day to day.

We went Patriots Day week this year, and had no problem at seven months getting a 1 BR for the first four nights at BCV, then we moved to SSR for the rest of the trip (our choice, not because of unavailability). As long as Patriots Day doesn't coincide with Easter, it's not as busy as other school vacation weeks. We didn't find it that crowded, thankfully!

ETA: We did book the entire trip at SSR at the 11 month mark, just to be sure we had something, then switched over at exactly 7 months.
