7 day Western - May 7, 2005???

Thanks James.... I'll make sure to put that on my list.

Quick question: What day are we in Grand Cayman?? May 10th??

Bought some clothes today (even though I said I would wait). I'll be pulling suitcases out for DH & myself and start getting those odds and ends put together.

Hi Tera :cool1:
Yes GC is Tuesday the 10th.. I will be checking off my extras for the trip starting next week also.. DW found a cocktail dress yesterday.. Heard that pin trading with the cm's are back on now.. Geting close isn't it? Talk soon.
James pirate: aaaaaarrrrrhhhhhh

Tera,
The underwater cameras are everywhere - I even saw them at the grocery store. But I'm sure that isn't the cheapest place to find them. My girls are 7 and 3.

I am new to the digital world. We bought a new camera before Christmas and I haven't been overly impressed yet. We bought a Panasonic that is supposedly a nice camera (with zoom, image stabilization, etc.) but I'm having some issues. Are any of you knowledgeable in this area? I'm hoping I don't end up wishing I had bought a simple point and shoot!

Where did you guys find water shoes? Tht's next on my list.

Thanks! :flower:

Hi LostGirls :cool1:
We bought our water shoes at Wal-Mart(4.43) but they do have them at Target also. I have a Kodak 4530 and it is particular on certain pics also.. We too have a canon digital movie cam that can take stills too and it also has more features that drive me crazy. My advice to you would be to us the camera as much as possible before the trip so you become more proficient with it and learn as many in and outs as possible.. James pirate:

Lostgirls - We have a digital camera that we bought for Disneyland 2 years ago and it's pretty good. The pictures aren't always that great, but I love that I can take 500 pictures and delete half of them. We are looking for a new video camera and might look into one that takes the stills too. I defintely agree with taking pictures now so you know what all the features are like.

Bought a semi formal dress online today. I hope it fits :earseek: We also booked our Capt Marvin excursion today for the 11:15-1:15. Figure that lets us take our time in the morning and still have plenty of time in the afternoon to shop. I also bought Pirate shirts online too for the 4 of us to wear pirate:

James - Good news for you about the pin trading. Might try and get some for my girls to trade.

66 DAYS TILL WE LEAVE

hi everyone

time is really flying now isn't it!!! i really lucked out and at the end of summer got 8 pairs of water shoes for $1.00 a piece at walmart!! (i love a bargain)

try this link for a water camera http://www.target.com/gp/detail.htm...611370-0922213?_encoding=UTF8&asin=B00069ZWHQ it is reuseable and cheap!!

i am debating whether to bring my video recorder or not- its compact but i just hate to lug around a video camera, digital camera and water proof camera- that just seems like a lot of stuff to have everytime i leave the cabin- anyone else bringing their video recorder??

we decided to stay an extra day after the cruise and leave sun afternoon- really wanted to do ron jons but its already all booked!!!

:flower1:

Hey Bratray - Thanks for the information regarding the reusable waterproof camera. Wish I had seen that since I just got home from Target

We are actually looking into purchasing a new video camera for the trip. Our old one is huge and wanted something alittle smaller, plus with digital picture capability. Figure two-in-one is better than lugging two separate ones.

Nice find on the water shoes. DH and I have water sandals and just hope the girls water shoes from last year fit. Yet another thing I need to do when they go on spring break :earseek:

tera maybe i can talk DH into getting a new digital video recorder then i can record and take pics- wondering if he'll go for it (LOL) .

:rotfl2: this is him when i mention spending more money

Hope you can make it to the Meet.
I have started some "packing piles "gotta find a new bathingsuit :earseek:
I have been looking -just haven't found one I truly love yet

James
I booked our excursions through Disney for this reason "the boat will not leave without you"
I have read lots of stories where excursions have run late or they take a while to come and pick you up.
I am nervous about missing the boat or running late
