7:40 am Welcome Show

What time should we plan to arrive? I think we arrived around 8:15 for an 8:40 show last year... Not sure I can convince my troop to be there at 7:15....

When it's this early, does the crowd still build pretty quickly?

We got off the monorail from the Poly around 725, scanned our MB's and walked right into it as it was starting. We had a great view. It wasn't severely crowded to me.

Yes,8:40 AM for regular open,7:40 AM for AM EMH.

(It is possible they will do a shortened show on any given day per different circumstances)

Yes it's about 20 min prior. Be aware though that there's different variations of the show. Some use the train, some don't, sometimes they don't do the morning show. Being there 30-45 min prior to the show should put you in a good spot for it

They try to do the full show every day-really no way to know if a problem is going to come up that will prevent the full show unless it is something widely known such as the train being in refurb.

Yes although you could get a modified Welcome Show. There are several variations.

This is good information! I hadn't considered an opening show but with EMH announced on a day where we had an 8:15 CP...I think we're hitting the show and skipping breakfast!

You can do both the show starts 20 before park opening so if the park opens at 8 they would start the show at 7:40. It lest about 8 minutes then they let you in if you have an 8:15 ADR you should be fine
