2. I'm a VERY amateur photographer. I just love to take pics and see the world from a different view. I'm working on getting a new computer program to alter/fix/make better...my photos. I have a Nikon D70. I'm looking to get another chip as 900 pics just aren't going to be enough for this trip. What type of camera do you have?
3. Thanks for the ideas on the anniversary. I saw the vow renewal, but wasn't sure I wanted to do this. There is a romantic package, but I'm thinking that we'll pass on this too and make plans at the spa... on our own. I love the party on the deck idea. July 27 is the date...more details later.

Love the FE idea too. I know someone on the site makes them...Do you know if she still does this or has a pattern to make my own?

I have to say, that I am partial to the viking ship with mickey on it.

Wow - it's amazing seeing all these familiar names here.

I'm reluctant to say that I'm going for sure - the economy is way too uncertain to say that. But we're booked - I definitely want to go on this one.

Got our on board booking credit transferred over, and got one of the category 10 hidden porthole rooms (couldn't believe it was still available).

On a lark I'm also holding a reservation on the westbound TA - but unless we're really flush that one's going to get cancelled.

Nice however to see so many familiar faces so that will make things a bit easier.

The Med 07/28 thread was one of the nicest, ( if not nicest) cruise meets threads I have ever posted on and joined in, such a loverly bunch of people and we kept friendly on the cruise as well a joy to be with.

This thread already has all of the 'hallmarks' of the July 2007 cruise meets thread with so many nice people.

Its a long way off and we have a long time to get to know each other.

jkjkjkjk (just kidding ) Agreed, Andrew, our Med group was very enthusiastic and in addition to helping each other plan excursions, we did have a blast organzing our lanyards, fish extenders, DISmeets and our discussions of Sallie's propeller hat and my remark about rolling TP (thx for bringing it up, Laura!) When I heard that so many of us had booked this particular cruise..........it made it very easy to choose it too! So, forgive us for all our inside jokes, let's just create a whole bunch more in the next few months..........wow, 21 months to go............

OK so in all my excitement for today....er yesterday, I had no time to think about what is happening 2009.

I'm so excited......And I just can't help it......I'm about to lose control and I think I like it......Oh YEAH!


So now, I don't have to get depressed for 2009. I have plans - apart from escorting DD 16 (then) to Spain and France come spring break - I am going to have another wonderful year. I am truly blessed. Thank You God!

I have the same problem, trip planning depression.......so we're scheduled for the 2009 Tortola cruise with DCL on 7/18........Maryann (Mrs. G) is also booked We also have a few friends from our 2005 Lucy & Jenny (lwilliam & jfis1020) going next year with us. Of course, we also have a great new bunch of friends who are also really nice on the thread!

We also looked at that cruise and decided to go with a 4 day in June along with a few days at WDW since we will have our AP's.

No you do not see the Northern Lights in St. P in late July. Sunset will be around 11pm and sunrise around 4:30am.

Andrew, the location of the hotel in Venice is very good. One tip is that St Marks Square is a very busy area during the day. It is wonderful at night when all the day trippers have gone. We usually prefer to stay in the Dorsoduro area it is about a 5-10 minute walk from St Marks Square. It is less touristy but with still a lot of restaurants, wine bars and more

Venice is one of my favorite places in the world
