Yea who said we were complusive planners :rotfl2: :rotfl2: Also, as I posted earlier today, yesterday Paul said that as there is so long to go until this cruise there will be children onboard that aren't even conceived yet

Hmmm, are you and Paul planning on surprising us with a new addition?;)

I was reading on the cruise critic forum that if you book a private tour with an authourised guide in St. Petersburg, then the tour guide will organise visa for you. Anyone know if this is correct ?

It is true -- I have been looking into this, too. Good reputable companies are Red October and Denrus . . .

Yes I read this if you book an authorised tour agency they will cover it for you, they will givew you a ticket to show on disemnbarkation that you are on a tour with them, you must put a return time and cannot be late, so if you put 6pm back and back 7pm, you ae in trouble, if you put 9pm and back at 8pm thats ok.

Hotel Concordia looks wonderful! I love the decoration. Yes, you will really enjoy the Contemporary, especially with a MK view. Don't forget it is easy to do Epcot from there as well, one stop on the monorail to the TTC, then on the Epcot monorail -- maybe 10-15 minutes and much better than a bus. Walking to and from the MK is wonderful, especially at the end of the day when there are lines to get on the transportation options. Don't forget that Discovery Cove is more than just the dolphin experience -- the entire place there is lovely, and all-inclusive, like being on the cruise for that day on Castaway Cay or something . . .

I do not think I can get closer to the action than the Concordia !;)

That is not true with the times. We just showed our tour tickets to immigrations and no times were listed on them. They do give you a little card which MUST be turned in when you go back thru the customs hut - no clue what happens if you don't have the card. :confused3

We are going with Anastasia - I've already contacted her and she's working on another tour for us. We used her in July and were more than pleased with our guide, driver and tour.

The link to her site is on page one with the other links I've sent to be posted.

I have just been on the DCL site,

When orginally posted the only Baltic cruise I can get prices on is this one:-

2010baltic.jpg

Now some cabins might be out with TA's and might get returned to stock so availability might show in 24 hours,

But look at the prices now!

Can get ours now:-

Julie- I went with Jo- so happy!!! I only wish she handles air fare- hopefully everyone here will know when to book the air and what airline to use!!:confused3 :confused3

I like the early dinner seating- if I remember correctly, a few of our friends had a little trouble with the late seating in that they were held up a few nights in getting seated because the first seating was a little late in getting out of the dining room due to a few late arrivals from the tours.
I also like going to the early dinner and then going to the shows which are exceptional!! Dont miss the shows!!!

I have just been on the DCL site, I cannot get any reservations to come up for our cruise with or without kids so appearers at this time to be sold out.

The only Baltic cruise I can get prices on is this one:-

Andrew- do you mean the prices went up already for our cruise????

I think the cold/flu meds got to Andrew's head. I was able to find this cruise on DCL's site for 2A1C (age 16). But then again it's probably DCL's site being goofy, but we'll let Andrew think it's him.
The page he copied was for the 7/6/10 cruise not our's.

Prices have gone up for our cruise I can now access prices for our one so they are not sold out but the Cat 4 is getting close to my Cat 3 price.
How many people is this for? Also these prices include transfers and insurance which is well over $1200.00.

At the time the only one I could get up was the 7/6, I did a search for ours then did a search for all Baltic's and only the 7/6 came up.

Then I went back and brought up the page for our cruise and did a search and it finally came up as per amended post.
