howdy all

Glad to hear that you had a great cruise Andrew and family

Kara brought home her first paycheck last night - then she started asking me who was FICA etc and why was she having money deducted

Told her it was a fact of life - taxes and death

She is all registered for college and starts 09/09

finished her classroom driving school, now needs to pass temp license test and the written test at driving school and then she can get behind the wheel of a car - eek

Have a great week all

:)

:goodvibesGood Morning All:goodvibes

Did they win yesterday?
Sounds like he needs another vacation to stay healthy. :rotfl: :rotfl2: :rolleyes1 :lmao: :cool1: :headache: :woohoo: :yay:

Nope :rotfl2:

I was afraid it would put me into a higher tax bracket with Obama in the White House!:lmao::rotfl2::rotfl::laughing::scared1:

(Oh I am almost done paying for the Repo as well):thumbsup2 If I knew this was a competition I would have finished earlier!;):lmao:

Nope I have 4 kids 1 dog 1 cat & 1 bird:confused3:scared1::headache: and they are all ahead of you in line (not to mention the rest of my relatives!):confused3

I figured it didn't hurt to ask you to pay off my cruise. But in my defense, I wasn't asking you to pay off my friend's cruise too just mine. Their's is the expensive one since it's for 5 people in a cat. 4 and we are only 3 people in a cat. 7.
I think I'll start paying them off soon, just so the cc bill isn't so much of a shock in March. :scared1: Plus, I'll take advantage of the 6 month 0% interest with the Disney Visa. :woohoo:

Hey :yay::yay:
Funny about the tax questions:lmao:
My DS was amazed that the lines on the roads actually meant something in terms of passing other cars:rolleyes:

What the injuries?:lmao::3dglasses

Well, first...I couldn't resist using the thumbs-up smiley for that one;)

But I'm always impressed with athletes that compete regardless of injuries. I was never an athlete (science geek here). So to compete with an injury AND perform well just seems really cool:cool1:

Nice win at Bingo. Did you rebook another cruise with your winnings? :upsidedow

Since the Wonder is supposed to begin sailings out of CA 1/4/2011 my guess is the repo cruise will be over Christmas. I'm pretty sure that's the date Capt. Henry told me last month.

That would be nice. I didn't rebook at this point - I still have to take a hard realistic look at this cruise before March.

Congrats on the big Bingo win! Did you play electronically or on a paper card?

Taking the Wonder through the PC would be terrific - and over Christmas! Wow!:goodvibes

Electronic. I seriously couldn't believe it was happening - we were still 3 away while several people were already standing. Then got 2 in a row. Then they called O ... and there were only two left, so it was a 50-50 chance. When they called our number we all sort of flipped out.

That's incredible, Dan!:cool1::cool1::cool1: Hope you are able to make this cruise -- I really think it is going to be an unforgettable 12 days:goodvibes

Just back from your neck of the woods, Robert. Had a great time with DS & his DF. We did a few touristy things, as we've done it all before, but it was nice just spending time with them.

We're all paid off too. Actually, we had to pay off one of us on Day 1 because we booked the other on points.

We're definately sticking with DCL excursions. Not only were they fabulous on the Med., we can charge everything to the ship in dollars and don't have to worry about the exchange rate or carrying around a lot of Euros. I know that those that did private had a wonderful time, too. Just a matter of choice.

Hi Epcot today, and Hollywood Studios on Tuesday:thumbsup2
:cool1::cool1::thumbsup2

Nooooo:guilty: Too many folks bailing ship as it is:sad2:

Actually... DH and I were also discussing money issues recently and decided we really like these ports and the people we are sailing with so we are going to try and make it work. But if people keep dropping out we may re-think things as well

...no pressure;) (you have to do what is best for you of course)

Love bingo:thumbsup2 I can remember winning five dollars once when I was about 10 years old:laughing:
Plus DCL makes their games even more fun.
Would be even better if someone tooks pics of when people won. Those would sell at shutters!

Harole Ann,

Forgot to ask, are we still linked dinner buddies on the cruise? Hope so.

We have had good luck with DCL excursions. I know they cost more, but it is quite easy. One of these years I am going to get brave and try something on our own.

Two more days til we leave for Seattle. Then on North to Alaska!!!:cool1:

Hope you have a great time in Alaska!:thumbsup2

Animal kingdom Wednesday came back early as heavy rain guess Fantasmic is off

Sorry about the heavy rain but of course it is pretty typical in Orlando this time of year . . . we leave Friday morning and will be at the Hyatt Airport Friday night before heading to the Magic on Saturday . . .

I will have to think about packing soon!:rotfl:

I try thinking about packing but it never works you have to actually do it, anyway, so far every day is hot humid and sunny to 5pm/6pm, then heavy thunder and lightning, tonights is bad. But we did everything bar Fantasmic today and Toy Story mania three times, and the lines got to 130 mins with fastpasses gone by late morning.

Hope you have a great time in Alaska!:thumbsup2

According to Weather.com it should be raining in Alaska the next 10 days too.:sad2:
