Wow! My kids are wanting to stay there but good luck getting a room now - just my son and his wife so we only wanted a studio. Your view was amazing! Thanks for sharing.

Lovely stay from Dec 7th through Dec 12th at Boardwalk Villas. I had a garden view booking and requested a handful of rooms that were end units with nicer views - the room request came through and I got 5027, with this view off the 1-bedroom living room balcony:

The nighttime view was similarly lovely:

Have to say, this year was a pretty good run - stayed at Boardwalk 4 times, and 3 out of 4 times I got a specific room number request fulfilled - twice with Boardwalk view, and this time with garden view. I much prefer garden view over pool view, as they're more quiet - and the rooms down near the Swan/Dolphin end can have a lovely and peaceful view to relax in the morning with a coffee.

As an extra bonus, while sitting out there in the late morning, I noticed a bald eagle land on the top of the 'swan' at the Swan hotel, directly across from my balcony. I got my camera out and got lucky when the eagle flew off in my direction, soaring right past my balcony:
