Hi Harole Ann --
I have a quote from Anastasia, whom I loved because they don't require any deposit - in fact, you never pay a thing until the second day. I went back and forth when them for a while before getting a personalized itinerary for the two days, at a cost I thought was very reasonable. Other companies with good reputations for private tours in St. P are Denrus and Red October. I will bet MaryAnn and Tom would be interested, unless they feel more comfortable doing St P via DCL.
Do you need a visa for these excursions?
Just back from your neck of the woods, Robert. Had a great time with DS & his DF. We did a few touristy things, as we've done it all before, but it was nice just spending time with them.
We're all paid off too. Actually, we had to pay off one of us on Day 1 because we booked the other on points.
We're definately sticking with DCL excursions. Not only were they fabulous on the Med., we can charge everything to the ship in dollars and don't have to worry about the exchange rate or carrying around a lot of Euros. I know that those that did private had a wonderful time, too. Just a matter of choice.
I am leaning that way too Maryann as I know there are never any worries!
Harole Ann,
Forgot to ask, are we still linked dinner buddies on the cruise? Hope so.
Oh, yes! You, Tom, Jan, Howie, Me & Ryan. We too had our cruise paid in full since it was booked the first day open and then while on the November cruise re-booked for the discount. After Garry passed away I had need to cancel because of the money issue and my grandson jumped in unknown to me and picked up the tab and gave me the cruise as a Mother's Day gift. He is my jewel
