OK, so who got it? i know not me with the 40 second rule.

ETA: Congrats JoAnn!

My basement tree has a good amount of Disney ornaments too, because the unbreakable ones go down there. Every year, we each pick out a new ornament at Disney World to add to the tree. With 5 of us, they add up quickly.

Now I see how you get to have more and justify it as well. :thumbsup2

The only problem is when the kids move away and take their ornamnets, the trees will look bare. We'll go back down to one tree I guess. :confused3

Well, the last kid went to bed about an hour ago, so i think it's safe for me to wrap. have a great night!

Mike - :woohoo: :woohoo: Congrats!

Barb - we  to volunteer people - huh Mike????? :rotfl:

OK Just another quick drive-by. Tomorrow is the JV soccer Christmas breakfast where we unveil our secret pals. I managed to hunt down a 3-D soccer necklace with moral values printed on the back. (It just basically says that we will play with honor, virtue and true sportsmanship. I was in a quandry because I wanted to have them blessed and Megan came to the rescue. On her last night of catechism she had Fr John Paul come by the classroom and he blessed all 22 medallions. So, off I go to find some small stockings and insert them in. The yucky part is that breakfast is at 8 am :scared1:

No rest for this wicked lady - got to go eat and find them pesky bags. Will hope to catch up later. I'm also trying to make some lasts minute ornaments from the rubber foam kits with their soccery number on it to put outside the bag. Anyone else come up with these fabulous ideas at the last minute? Don't get me wrong - love the ideas - just wish they came with more time. :rotfl2:

:wave2:

I was reading this long post and missed the pirate: - oh well, there will be many more chances. :dance3:

You must get the ideas to come much sooner than the last minute. But I can't help you on how since I have a problem coming up with them at all.

I've always worried about this as well, but so far I still have them all!:woohoo:

I'm done.......my last day of work is tomorrow...............:scared:

DD has school tomorrow and then is done until the 5th. She's been working on her project, basicall non-stop, since Friday so it can be done by Wed. afternoon. I think the only thing she will have to do when we get back is the extra credit part. At least they give them until Tues. to turn it in.

We definately will. I'm looking forward to warmer temps, even if it will only be in the 50's it will feel like a heat wave compared to today.

I just found out that I'm "volunteered" to go to the grocery store Weds morning. I guess I should be used to getting "volunteered" after hanging around on this thread with Julie & Laura. (Love you both! )

I can't believe you don't just accept being "volunteered" as a way of life now, Mike!;) Great Xmas decorations, by the way:thumbsup2 :thumbsup2 :thumbsup2

"Captain Lucky" it is!!

I will update the first post! Congrats, JoAnn!

I took the two younger girls to see the new Shrek musical on B'way tonight -- the acting and singing were first rate and I enjoyed it more than I had expected to.

YIPPEEE!!!!! I NO LONGER HAVE A FLAT TIRE!!!!
I have a nice new tire and a portable air compressor. AAA still could not come help me this afternoon, so we had to go to Plan B. When Andrew got home from work we went out and got the compressor, filled the tire and then I drove to Costco. I got my new tire and I'm now a happy camper!
No new snow today, but possibly a little tomorrow night. Lots of slush on the streets which could turn into ice tonight.
4 more sleeps and 1 more day of work!
