7/13 FD pin?????

I can't remember if you said, but did you already have your reservations made and then have the PIN applied?

If so, that's great news that you had no trouble getting it applied. We are going to be at POP Oct. 14-19 and plan on upgrading to DP from QS.


Got my pin applied today by my TA at AAA. Saved us $258 (after we upgraded to the regular DP over the QS since we are staying at Pop). Oh and it does indded cover the mid-October black out! We are going 10/13-18.

Yes. AAA had my ressie and the TA had the PIn applied today (to my ressie, my dad's, and my sister's...three seperate ressies with my pin).

OKay, I called today and lo and behold, the 7/13 is attatched to either myself or my wife. The CM commented that they had sent it out, but I'll be damned if anything has shown up in the emails (and commented on that fact). Now awaiting a call back from the TA to switch things around, get the QS and upgrade to the regular....
 

Just got off the phone with my TA and she said the Disney systems are down and she has to wait and try later. =( But she semed confident that she would be able to get it appliedto our existing POP ressie.

Has anyone gotten this pin for a deluxe? On the WDW website, they are only offering FD for moderates. Since we are staying at the Contemporary, does that mean we're out for FD? Or is there a different offer for deluxe resorts? I think I might try to call, even though we arrive on a FD blackout date.
 
Alright, my TA called back, and got it code applied to our ressie, and saved almost $500 in the process...(upgraded to regular dining)...such a relief. This is our 4th trip and the first time getting any sort of discount or pin.

The only thing that purplexes me, (as well as my TA), and almost echoed in the CM I talked to, is that I SHOULD have received an email about it. The CM seemed surprised I didn't know I had it, and the TA never heard of not receiving an email first. Perhaps there is a Snafu somewhere? I can't help but think about getting emails about the same general public pin three times, including twice in the same week (4 if you count my wife getting them too), and pehaps the body of the emails SHOULD have been this 7/13 code? There are a lot of people out there in the same boat if that is the case.

I also echo what others have been saying....CALL...
 
just called and was told i had a fd pin, I also have not received an email or postcard.....
 
I had to call and apply the pin today for three rooms at a moderate resort for a December trip that falls within the blackout dates.
 
Still no pin for us. I convinced more than ever that the Mouse hates me!!!!!:confused3
 
Make sure you call and check under all members of you party's names. I had the very nice CM check under my husband's name and mine and she found it!!:cool1:

The CM was super nice and checked under both of our names and nothing. I've been to Disney many times and have always had to pay full price for everything. We will go no matter what, but I would love to say I got something, anything.:sick:
 
The cast member I spoke to said I didn't have a Pin. I asked if she would check under my wife's name. She said that she had already checked my name, my wife's name, my children, and even the extra email address I set up last month in hopes of maximizing my chances for a Pin. So, I think they are able to see all of this based on address. She never asked for my email, but she had all 3 of them. Anyway, I am still hoping....:confused3
 
A BIG thanks to everyone who encouraged others to call. I didn't get an email so I was going to wait. But, after all the posts, I decided to call a few minutes ago. After zero wait, I got a nice CM who I asked to check to see if I had the new FD pin. She put me on hold a few minutes and came back and said I do!! We had switched our dates last week to match the public offer but I really wanted my original Oct dates (which were blacked out on the public FD offer). So we switched and now we get FD and the dates we wanted!!

so a question for all of you.... if you get the free dining code but your an annual pass holder do you still have to buy tickets?
 
I called to check and I did not have the pin, but I specifically asked him to check my husbands acct, which I have never done before. I've always just asked to check for anyone in my household. I discovered my husband had the 40% off and the new FD one. For anyone interested, there's very minimal blackout dates for the FD one. The dates are valid 10/3-11/23, and then 11/28-12/16. I already got the GP one, but I'm glad to know my husband's getting the pins now. He did NOT get an email...I check his acct daily :rotfl: I hope all of you get what you are looking for!
 
My DW called today and we had the PIN attached to my email even though I haven't received anything by email. We were able to book the same room at POFQ for the same price we had; so essentially no extra cost for FD! We had to buy tickets too, of course, but were planning on buying APs anyway so it's totally a great deal for us. I'm not a big fan of the DDP, but it's tough to see how paying the same price we were paying for a room only but getting dining on top is anything but an awesome deal! We check in on 11/23 so JUST sneak in under the wire on the new dates.
