Just starting a new thread, thought it would be fun to know......

Have you ever seen any celebrities at Disneyland just being guests, and not there for publicity?

8 years ago we saw Nick Cage getting off Space Mountain.

I saw Ray Romano and his family at DCA a few years ago. A couple months back I was at the Gibson Girl Ice Cream Parlor and in line in front of me was someone who I didn't recognize, but some nearby teenagers did because they kept asking for his autograph and taking pictures with him. I'm guessing he might be someone in music because the teenagers seemed to be the only ones to recognize him.

<font color=navy>When DCA opened, I saw one of the kids that used to come out on the Disney Channel... well, he's a young man now -- the one who played Britney Murphy's rich brother in the Torkelson's show. He was there with a bunch of friends.

OMG haha. I just got a flashback of the time I was in line for Space mountain and standing behind me was one of the actors from that old ABC friday night line up show " Step By Step" (you know the one with Susanne Somers, 90's), Yeahb so I was really giddy and you can see all the young girls were giggling and acting sheepish. I felt lucky he was behind me and we got to ride together in the train..oh how I told that story to NO end!

I always wonder if these celebrities go to DL and act normally without thinking if anyone is going to recognize them. So far all the celebrity stories I've heard never really involve super security (except for maybe someone like Michael Jackson etc.)

Since DL is largely attended by locals, they for the most part don't need that much security (So Californians tend to be more laid back when it comes to celebrities because we see them more often). Ray Romano had a VIP tour guide with him and I think that's what they get for the most part. I'm sure they all get to go on the rides w/o standing in line with one of the guides. I'm sure there are some that would need tons of security, others don't even have the tour guide. The person I saw at Gibson Girl was just with a girl and I guess her parents (pretty sure they weren't his).

Which one was it? J.T.? :p

The short guy who spent half of the show with a mullet? JT? YES IT WAS !! HAHAHA:hyper:

I remember those days of Full House and Step by Step and Family Matters. My encounter with "J.T" was the only one I ever had at DL but I always heard that the actors and actresses of the TGIF shows always made appearances at DL.

I haven't seen any celebrities *at* DL, but on my way home from DL, at LAX, I saw Melanie Griffith and Frankie Avalon. At WDW I saw Gelman from the Regis and Kelly show.

I was very excited to see Frankie. I love all the old beach party movies and I love Grease. I was standing next to him in one of the airport stores, he was buying cold medicine. I wanted to ask for an autograph really bad, but didn't want to bother him so I just stared at him foolishly while giggling with my friend.
