Holy cow! I've never seen a white woman that dark. She's 44 and looks like an 80 year old leather bag.

That's not just from just a tanning bed. In her Mug shot she was NOT that dark. She used a super dark tanning lotion and went in the tanning bed. More than once! My mom owns a tanning salon and sh has a few customers who are body builders and that is what they do. Most of her clients have a normal skin tone!

Was that a mug shot or a DL photo? I ask only because it could explain the skin tone difference. I didn't pay enough attention (and do NOT want to see that again) when I was skimming the article/watching the video to see the origin of the not so dark photo they showed.

Anyone looking for evidence on what a tanning booth or bed can do to you.....just take a look at her! When I first when I saw this story I thought "How can a woman that old have a 6 year old??" Then I saw how old she was!!! She's only a year older than I am!! I thought she was in her 60's!!! Awful!!!

I live in NJ....when I first saw the story on our local news, all I heard was "tanning salon" and saw the woman talking...I thought it was one of those "consumer advocate" pieces where someone was complaining about what happened to them at a local business....I thought for sure she went and had a spray tan done and that somethign went horribly wrong! lol

she looks like a worn down leather shoe........it's gross. I will never understand why people go to the extreme of damaging their skin to look darker. I mean, I get it....I am very light complected and after the winter I have some super pasty white legs ........but still, a little self tanning lotion goes a long way. and even that I have only done 2-3 times in my life and only on my legs

This just shows how scary-addictive tanning can be! She's an addict, and it's actually pretty common. My doctor at the skin cancer clinic I go to said that he has patients with melanoma that still insist on tanning, they can't quit!
