Yes, we were very proud of our girls.
We didn't decide to let them buy anything they wanted because they are that spoiled, but rather because we think they are great kids!
My kids are far from " deprived" but, it was really fun to let them buy whatever they liked at Disney World!
Needless to say, it was rather interesting flying home with all the new stuff in our carry on bags most if it fit in those, some we had to put in checked bag.

But, yes, our daughters were awesome, and showed us some maturity!
They don't know this yet, but because they were so darn good this vacation, I'm planning to take them back to Disney in a year .... This time, The Grand Floridian, with my mom as a " girls Disney vacation"!

Hey guys! I hope everyones shopping is going well. I am soooo glad October is over. It was my birthday, my sis's birthday, my Moms birthday and the 1 year mark since she passed away. I had been dreading the month for a long time now and I am just glad its over and we can keep moving forward.

I think we are going to start decorating tomorrow. I am going to take some ribbon I got at the Dollar Tree and run a strip down the front of each kitchen cabinet, and then glue an ornament and bow on each ribbon in the middle. I never add much to the kitchen and this year I want to jazz it up a bit!

I am trying to find a decent looking fake tree to put up now. Now that we have moved to Florida I want to do a tree in all Disney stuff, but I hate to go spend a couple hundred bucks on a tree. I really love getting our real tree, but we want to wait until dh gets home from work in Minnesota to do that. Now his work is saying he might not get to come home until a few days before Christmas!

I ordered the girls Just Dance Disney from Best Buy which is only 19.99 right now, free shipping. I got my 18 month old a tunnel and a water baby. She is so hard to buy for. Wer already have a ton of toys for her age group because we have a 3 year old who just got all those toys. Loralei will be getting some new jammies and maybe some outfits and she is headed toward being done.

I hope everyone is doing well and is getting excited for Christmas and all the fun!!!

I am really ready for decorating...I was just not into it last year which is so weird for me...but while I am hyped about it I want to go ahead and do it!!!!


My dd has decided that she wants a Gotz doll from Pottery Barn,...we almost got one last year, but decided on more AG accessories instead,..I am excited as I think they are so beautiful. And I want her to keep loving dolls as long as she can!!

Okay so I bit the bullet and bought DD2 a bouncey house. Ouch...it hurt the pocketbook. But she will love it. We never use our dining room so I'm thinking about sitting it up in there. It would make any interior decorator hurl but it will get lots of use in there

Also got her the Dainty Princess bedding for her new Big Girl bed. And picked up the Tigger Movie and Mickey's Christmas Carol. In case ya'll don't know Toys R Us has a Buy $40 in Disney DVD get a $10 gift card promotion going on in store right now. Also online they have Buy 3 Disney DVDs, get the 4th Free.

I think that's all, the other stuff was stocking stuffer junk. Oh I got her a Vtech doodle board thingy too.

Mine too! I was so happy that it came back out because last year after the adoption I looked for it and they were going on ebay for like 40 bucks used. I couldn't justify it but really wanted it for her.

We just picked up our 3 year old the Cinderella bike with all the bells and whistles at costco. Also I couldn't resist the Cinderella's Horse dreamlite exclusive at TRU. We also bought the 2 younger girls the Minnie Mouse Bowtique Flippin Kitchen.

Oh and I forgot to tell you I got DH's gift! I have been debating it all year and then when Disney Store had that coupon last week I decided to just go for it. The Olszewski Cinderella's Castle!

Is it the bike with the carriage on the front to hold her doll? That was so cute! I think we're going to get our 4 kids new bikes for Christmas for their big gifts, great idea!

So I need some suggestions if possible. I'm making all 3 of my daughters (13, 9, 2) dinosaur hoodies for Christmas, DD9 a Monster High house and DD2 2 quiet books. DD13, I'm stumped! I'm not a fantastic sew-er and am having a super hard time figuring out something to "make" her. Would appreciate any ideas! Thanks for your time, and for any and all suggestions.

She likes dinosaurs, mustaches, Percy Jackson/Twilight/Heroes of Olympus books, just recently got a Chromebook, has an iTouch and a Kindle, loves to play softball and cook.

Hmm, I'm not very crafty so I'm not sure how hard they would be, but what about a Kindle cover or an apron?

I agree costco is a better deal, unfortunatley they don't have the Cinderella's Horse dreamlite. It is only at Toys r us.

I have been reading through this thread for a while now. I love checking on everyone's progress and all the great ideas everyone posts. I also love the feeling of getting some shopping done! Today we picked up the 3ds for DS8 and a game for it. I got the WDW monorail for DS4 last week online and a lego set. My goal is to have all the shopping done before we head to WDW in three weeks. I feel great about the large stuff being crossed off!

Hi ladies!! cleaning in our house and outside today! Garage, pool cover-up, all the stuff we need to do before we leave next week!! I have made quite a bit of headway on my kids wish lists this week...I am soooo woefully behind (for me!) that it's outrageous. I am ALWAYS completely finished shopping by Oct 1. For everyone except my grandparents and thats because I go in with my mom and uncle for their gift. Not so this round...but my dd did find a couple of cute small things for her room she wanted to add, so that is great...I hope to order all the stuff that will be shipped this week and it'll come in while I am away and my mom can hide it!! She's housesitting and this works out perfectly!

Why not an apron? They sell plain ones at Hobby Lobby or Jo Ann's, and you can embelish or iron on whatever you want!
