Dinner at the Grand Floridian looked like a lot of fun! The step-sisters are hilarious!
Awww, it's too bad that you could only get one of the boys to play in the pirate splash area at the resort. You already know that we think that the resort is absolutely gorgeous and our favorite thing to do there is "just hang out".

Great pics and Lovely Family!

It scared me to death of course and I scolded him big time about walking away from us, especially in a place like Disney.

))Don't you just hate it when there's that one person who stands around and complains like heck and they don't care who hears or sees them? Why can't people just suck it up and do their moaning quietly? Like you said, sometimes it can get hard traveling with others but you don't have to proclaim it to the world.
Oh poor little man! Maybe he was just tired or didn't feel well and that's why he didn't like Ohana this time. You can never tell with a little one.
I want to see my nephew so bad! Poor little guy!! He must have been exhausted! That's a cute pic with Mickey!
HAHA Landen looks REALLY excited in that first photo.
Oh my goodness, I can only imagine the heart attack from losing sight of your child, even for a second.
Your story of the crazy lady makes me enjoy my solo trips even more, I swear.
Aww Marcie, isn't it amazing how kids react to the characters. Come love 'em, some hate 'em. You just never know. I can definitely understand being a bit scared though. They're HUGE!
At least Landen slept through all the would-be tramatic interactions while Lawson seemed to have a wonderful time. A win-win!
Characters are a big hit or miss with kids. And it's amazing how one visit they can love them, the next be absolutely terrified. At least Landen slept through all the would-be tramatic interactions while Lawson seemed to have a wonderful time. A win-win!
And I couldn't help but laugh at the thought of Landen waking up to big 'ol Mickey in his face. THAT would've been an adventure.![]()
I just love the first feeling of walking down Mainstreet USA and there are balloons flying, the Dapper Dans singing, children smiling..

If we end up getting to meet up with my sister and nephew in May, this is where we want to pull off the surprise if it works out. Have the boys playing in the queue and casually "bump" into one another.. I smile just thinking about it and hope it all works out.

We found a little spot near Aloha Aisle with a bench and some little rocks where Lawson perched himself and ate his snack. Here is a picture of him, fake smile and all.

He was starting to throw a tantrum and normally, I wouldn't bribe with candy with tantrum throwing but it's just different at Disney. It is so easy for kids ( and adults too) to get overwhelmed and exhausted, especially off your normal routine. Plopped him in his stroller and gave him a lollipop and all was right again.
