I just made reservations for Palo's for brunch and dinner and our excursion on Skagway. Nice living on the west coast so I don't have to stay up until midnight.

Stayed up til 1am here on the East Coast in Nova Scotia - got all of our excursions booked that we wanted - Ziplining, Whale Watching and Float Plane!!! My parents are booked on the more 'scenic' and less adventurous tours etc. at each port! Now the countdown is really on!!!!!!! Anyone start packing yet?

I was able to snag a Palo Tea ressie! I have been waiting for this for awhile, this is our first tea. I get to go to Palo Tea !!!! I really am happy about this.

What did the "TRM code not in CMS" mean next to some of the Palo times? I was afraid to select those time slots because I thought they weren't true reservation times. And now I cannot retrieve my reservation to print out our cruise plans...of course, I am paranoid that my selections won't be there

When I went in 1 minute after the starting time, there was very little left for Palo. One of the dog sledding excursions was already completely booked. I hope that those who couldn't get in finally did. How frustrating for some. I remember when you use to have to book everything on the ship and that was a mess, horrible. This is at least better than that.

Does anyone know if there will be character breakfasts offered on the Alaskan cruise and, if so, which morning it may be? Would hate to book Palo brunch on same day as we have a big breakfast.

You bet! I'll add you to the next update. I think I'll close the fish extender list about 30 days before the cruise. That should give everyone plenty of time to get everything together.

Let me know if anyone doesn't like that plan!

I was on at 12:01 EST also. There seemed to be plenty of time slots for tea and brunch, however, many of the time slots had "TRM code not in CMS" next to it. I was afraid to pick those times in case it was an error of some sort and the booking wouldn't be honored. That said, I did book a tea, a brunch and a dinner. I did not look at any of the excursions. I signed off and realized I didn't print out my cruise activities. It took me what seemed like forever, at least 45 mins or so to sign back on and my Palo dinner reservation was not there. I was able to rebook that with what was available.

It can be frustrating but you are right, I can only imagine the mayhem if everyone had to book while onboard

I hope everyone gets what they want. Just a reminder to everyone that things open up all the time. Just keep checking back and chances are you will find a slot that "just opened up". That happened with us on our first cruise for brunch. And we love Palo brunch. The best meal on the ship for us
