It looks like both Disneyland and Adventure World will be open from 9:30 - 10:40 pm during my stay. The app says that Cascade of Lights is a 20 minute show. Does anyone know what time of night the show is expected to take place? Also, if Disneyland closes at 10:40 pm, what time is the fireworks show?

Thanks in advance.

The night time fireworks and projections show at The Castle will start at park closing time. For you with a park closing time of 10.40pm, that means The Castle show will start at 10.40pm. People will start getting their places from about an hour before.

Not sure what time of year you are going. I'll be there in early June. Sunset isn't until 9:50pm then, so it isn't truly dark until 1030.

Thank you @Bad Pink Tink 2.0. It sounds like Paris fireworks are what Walt Disney referred to as a kiss goodnight.

Sunset should be around 8:30 pm when I am there. I'm wondering if Cascade of lights will be at park closing as well. Google searches say that it should take place at dusk but I don't know how accurate that is. If it is at dusk, is it feasible to watch it on my last night (approximately 9-9:30 pm), then leave for a hotel closer to the airport? I wouldn't get to the airport hotel until close to 11 pm which is okay with me. However, if the show didn't start until 10:40, that would probably be too late.

From what I remember Cascade of Lights is first, approx 15 minutes before park closing and then the main Castle Projections and Fireworks show at exactly park closing time. So expect a total show run time of aprox 35 to 40 minutes between both.

Paris Fireworks are nothing like Kiss Goodnight. Its a full proper fireworks and projections show.

Most people are in their places about 1 hour before park closing, so they just stay in place for both.

Maybe I'm referring to it wrong. Isn't the new show on Adventure Bay called Cascade of Lights? That's the show I am asking about. Kind of like WOC in DCA and fireworks in DL, DLP will have a water show, Cascade of Lights, in Adventure World and fireworks in DL.

Ah ok, sorry, I need to get my brain around the new names.

The new show in the old studios park. As it hasn't opened yet, I have no idea about timings and how the crowd flow will be.

I would imagine it will be around 10:20pm ish just before closing, whilst light is an issue even in Winter months the show in the main park which is similar concept of lights/laser/drones etc. I'm not entirely sure but it could be due to the fact Disney is sat under a flight path.

When I went last November and saw Tales of Magic, whilst waiting it was plenty dark being Winter, however several flights from 9pm-10pm flew across. Obviously drones are limited near flight paths & considering Disney use thousands for the show, it could be why they are making them late all year round. Plus its the big finale so it ends the day with it.
