Sorry, the Photoshop (or whatever the heck I used) was a stretch for me and you see how preschoolian it is. I cannot manage the winking part!!! :)

Ok, as much as I hate to go, I must take the kids to piano lessons. :) Have fun....

Ya gotta wonder how many times her poor DH has heard that? :rotfl2:

The husband can handle it, it's the KIDS we're worried about!

And OF COURSE I meant to take that picture...it's darn near perfectly centered. But yes, a little over-exposed....but so is his scalp!

Kevin.....I must admit, it wasn't you. It's Paul.

What a wonderful, lazy morning. I received a "pardon" from the boss today. I get to stay home today, if I go to an art presentation in his place tomorrow. DEAL!

Lucky you! I'm at home on lunch (thought I would check to see if our documents came - no such luck) but need to head back to work.

:rotfl2: ;) :rotfl2: ;)

Stacey, thanks for the lovely Birthday wishes (and the very nice card, BTW). But I have learned that making fun of men's hairlines is just as bad as making fun of lady's bottoms. Which you did also, almost forgot.
I think you're forgetting to sign in as LISA!

Hey, I'm not kidding! We could really use someone like Mark....smart, reliable, young......but not too young....doesn't drink, doesn't smoke.

We fired a guy last week. Out of the one week he was with us, he had 12 hours in. His car broke down on the way to work, his wife was sick, had to visit his parole officer...every excuse.

So we have another new guy. He worked Monday. Called yesterday at 10:00 a.m.....he'd gone to the doctor and has an infection. Haven't seen him since. And I'm not using the toilet at the shop til someone cleans it.

You know, here is some free legal advice (I am an attorney for a corporation here in LV), most often companies do what we refer to as "Buying or Hiring their own problems" we have found that you can save a LOT of money by THUROUGHLY pre-screening applicants. We are beginning to do background checks on all applicants, and we have found that, even though we spend a good deal of money doing that, what it saves us in downtime, and overtime is well worth it and it has GREATLY reduced our turn-over, even with 3500 employees each one from janitor to CEO gets screened for criminal and drugs... and if you are unsure about their history, call their prior employers, who, even thoug they are only supposed to verify employment will OFTEN, in the cases of a "problem employee", volunteer far more info to you... and you can certainly tell from their answers if he/she was a problem... this is especially helpful in avoiding "Professional Workers Comp" collectors who will immediatly fake an injury, collect the comp, then quit... Just some FREE legal advice to a friend... :thumbsup2

Actually, it's pretty close!!! LOL :lmao:

Even I thought it was you. But then I remembered, you pretty much shave what's still there. But you're still cute!

I started packing last night. Really putting stuff into the suitcase. My stuff first. I went shopping the other day and was picking out what goes with what and just decided that everything was out on the bed anyway. I took up 1/2 the suitcase, but still have a couple more things to put in. And then there's the garment bag for things not needing to be folded. I know I packed too many things, but I don't think I'll be in the minority on that issue. Last time we went to Florida (DEC), I didn't pack enough T-shirts. It was too cold for all the tanks I packed. Oh well.

Note to self: Remember to pack sweater - it is only May - it is still cool...... :teeth:

Ang, I had a whole long response to your post about Ashley's appointment, and cyberspace ate it...

Basically it said that I'd get a doctor's or speclialist's opinion before just taking the less dairy/more fiber advice. (Not that it's bad advice, but it won't solve the problem on its own.)

Good luclc... Let us know how she's doing.

I am a tired puppy this morning. Couldn't go back to sleep until about 3 a.m. and then alarm went off at 5:30. I sure wish it was Friday.

Thanks again -- I think this whole thing with Ashley has been as hard on me as it has been her. I just hate seeing her so disappointed. She did seem in a lot better mood this morning. They had a free dress day (no uniform) and then were going to have a fun day this afternoon, so we will see how it goes when she is actually at school today.

I bet in 3-4 years she will not remember being so upset.....

And a U-top with a Happy and Excited Ashley in 2009 as she is awarded the swimming trophy to the TOP honor student in her state - nea, the US.

Great advice! We actually do that as well. It does make the process more drawn out. But you do learn after awhile........
