And she calls herself a Jimmy Buffet fan :sunny:

I like mine with sauteed mushrooms and swiss cheese, onion straws and water with a lemon. :)

C-D-B-A for those who know me. ;)

Where do I find one?

Senor Frogs: Cozumel. At the end of the dock. Remember that open air bar. Pretty loud and crazy in there. Or you could just make Kevin and Diana whip you up a batch. ;)

Ok, ok, wait a second....why is he doing what KEVIN tells him to do. He doesn't do what I tell him to do.

(yes he does....just being funny) :lmao:

I am a tired puppy this morning. Couldn't go back to sleep until about 3 a.m. and then alarm went off at 5:30. I sure wish it was Friday.

Thanks again -- I think this whole thing with Ashley has been as hard on me as it has been her. I just hate seeing her so disappointed. She did seem in a lot better mood this morning. They had a free dress day (no uniform) and then were going to have a fun day this afternoon, so we will see how it goes when she is actually at school today.

I'm working from home this morning. We had a company come out to install pine straw. It took 85 bales!

I also had to make something for teacher appreciation lunch at day care. I made jambalya. A teacher told me the other day that they'd miss me when my kids are gone. Guess I better go see about packing it up & delivering to day care.

Wouldn't Whole Foods be about the same?

We have a Whole Foods here too. Not the same, not at all, and not nearly as inexpensive.

Yes, I think the Margarita recipe will be in the cookbook. At least that was the intent!

THAT IS AMAZING!!! Is that Haleakula? Awesome picture. Wish I knew you for my wedding pictures. Wish I was back in Hawaii right now. Thanks for the pic.

This is funny. We have been talking about an island vacation, and how much it costs to fly to one. I said "if we're going to spend that much on air fare, let's go to Hawaii". Kevin thought that was a silly idea. Bet he's changing his mind now.

OM, I agree with the assessment of your fellow DISers, the family who has Maggie is still having problems. But I can see why you wanted her now, she's a gorgeous dog.

After looking at the pricing for Uvero Beach, I don't think we'll go there ... just too much $$$. We'll think of joining you at Majahual.

We've done the ship's excursions before, but felt they're just too expensive. Doing it on our own is more fun, too!

The more the merrier!

It will be hard for her to understand now but something better is right around the corner!

Just ask Lisa - Some of you will remember her late night rant on how her "evil" Mom was making her change gyms. Well, less than a month later, she loves her new gym, is learning lots of new skills, has made lots of friends, and wasn't sure she wanted to go back to her old gym for their exhibition (which she had agreed to do previously -so she will participate this Saturday with them). Maybe next time will be the charm for her!!!

We went to the Big Island for a week and then Oahu for a week. I would go back to the big island ina heart beat, but now that we have done the Arizona have no desire to go back to Oahu -- traffic was terrible. 90% of the population of the state of Hawaii live on Oahu and then 90% of the population of Oahu lives in Honalulu. There is no road that goes all the way around the island so you have to go through downtown to get anywhere.

Snorkelling around the big island was amazing - lots of big fish, decent coral, lots of turtles! Snorkelled once off the beach in Oahu and could not figure out why theer was no fish. Later we saw several people going into the water with spears and bags!! :furious:

There is a flooded caldera that is a national park just outside of Honalulu that did have decent but lots of dead coral.

OOOOO! a UTOP with Hawaii! :cool1:

I guess we should take a look at the pictures and see what we got.

Sharon, your computer has the slot for the camera card so it will be easiest for you to load them up. :thumbsup2

You will have to show me how to do this or let me say "Hey Matt"

We did like Hanama Bay (the collapsed caldera) - but we absolutely loved snorkeling on Kauai. Poipu beach was a really nice - easy place to snorkel. We also did some snorkeling out near where the whales where in a coral field - it was really cool seeing the whales from under the water.....

Honolulu - I agree - been there - done that - hated Waikiki.... too touristy... catering to the Japanese tourists....

Would love to do the Big Island.... sometime...

Ok, I'm in SERIOUS vacation mode. I pulled a yogurt out of the fridge to have with my lunch (ohiomickey--ginger dressing salad by the way) anyway...I digress. The sell by date on the bottom was May 4th. And I thought "EEEWWWW....that was the beginning of the month...it's the 27th now!" :confused3 :confused3

Luckily I figured out that TODAY is May 4th before I pitched the yogurt! :)

Nope. Sounds yummy though!! Will have to try that the next time I'm up there. I LOVE their cornbread with blueberries in it. But they only make it certain days of the week.....and they dont' know what days....just "when they feel like it." :confused3 Ok, that makes it hard for ppl who can't just bop in everyday to see if THIS is the day they felt like it or not!!
