I loved the cabana massage!!! Something about laying in the sun, listening to the wave, and have a woman rub warm oil all over my body.

HHHmmmm sounds good but I would prefer a man rubbing warm oil on me :teeth:

Hey cool - entertainment!! There's no extra charge for that, is there? :rotfl:

Oddly enough, Jared is watching a program about bricks. I'm thinking the kid will go into construction........

Hey, I think the slump block looks cool!!

Maybe Jared can apprentice with Kevin. :)

It is maintenance free...I guess I never really thought about that. But since our house is ranch style, we have wood trim. And it needs painting badly!

Is that your house in the background of that picture??

Hey, I'm hoping I'm coming out your way between now and next May ('07). KT has entered me in a "why my mom deserves a spa vacation" contest! She had to write a 100 or less word essay about how great I am. :)

Ok....got some before and after pictures for you. There are still a few odd things that need to be done, but for the most part, they are done!! Everytime I go outside I just can't BELIEVE this is our house!!!
btw, the front of the house is done in a faux shake siding. The rest is done is the same color but the regular siding look.

The front.....before:

WOW! It looks incredible! Enjoy!

That's pretty typical. I always say that for us it's like the shoemaker's kids, who have no shoes!

Doesn't happen here. Dh is a pediatrician AND the kids are all up to date on immunizations (in fact, he's even brought the flu vaccine HOME and we've given it here---saves us a 30 minute drive each way)

Although he did just inform me that Nick is quite overdue for his med recheck. Oops! :(

U TOP with Stacey and her family and my family. :) How cool is that?

Ohiominnie, it does look very nice. I'd say the change in color and shutters makes the windows look bigger.

Yes I saw it!!!

Erin survived her trip to the urologist. He was actually very good - I liked him. It's a good thing, because I think we may be with him for a while.

He diagnosed her with an "immature bladder." Basically, for a child of 5 1/2, her bladder acts like it's only 3 1/2. It contracts involuntarily, which is what's causing her problems. He said it's not all that uncommon in girls this age, and that she'll eventually outgrow it. (Although he couldn't say how long it will take - may be when she's 8-10 years old.)

For now, we've put her on Detrol, which should take effect in a few days. We're doing an ultrasound just to rule out anything being wrong with her kidneys, and have a follow up on the 22nd. So we'll see how it goes. Makes me breathe a small sigh of relief, though, because I was worried that we would still have problems on the cruise. Hopefully, now, that won't be the case.

I decided it was time to pull all the plants out in the front so after DH had someone here doing that I then had to go buy new to replace all of them, boy, plants add up quick and after all this I hope they don't die, I got home yesterday to see the guys here planting but still have another area to buy for this weekend. Never ending projects!!!

See, you were on the right track. Pull all the plants. The problem started when you planted new ones. Just go grass. My neighbors decided my grass looked better than really tall weeds.

This is how we pull weeds at my house.

With the talk about immunizations recently, I called and have Lisa's appointment before 7th grade. I want to get that over before we start summer vacation and they can't start 7th grade without them getting their last set of shots (whatever they are).

Lisa loved that you called and she waved to you (I am sure you saw that as we passed on I-4 going 70 mph in opposite directions)

Don't get your hopes up with a visit to the Stacey Shack. I spent the day with Stacey and got to see the shop, the Horney Toad, the schools.....but no Stacey Shack. :confused3

AAARRRGGGHHH....Sounds too much like word problems from 6th grade....

If a car travelling eastbound on a highway going 70 miles per hour crosses paths with a car travelling westbound going 68 miles an hour.....

ARGH! (is there a smiley guy pulling his hair out??)
