I also set two of my kids up with their own DISboard ids, but I couldn't get the paperwork faxed in for anything. It was so frustrating, so I will probably let them post under my name on the tag-along board.

We're supposed to fax in paperwork????? :confused3

Looking at my mortgage co's website....looks like I can split my mortgage payment in two, and pay every two weeks....that gets in an extra payment a year which all goes to principal. Anyone else do this???

Wouldn't this sentence translate to they're also having problems? I think she's agreeing that Maggie wasn't a good fit for your family, just not as tactful. With older boys, Maggie probably figures they are the "top dogs" and found a pecking order . (I know Abby, our dog, responds differently to John versus the kids or me...)

Yeah, thanks for helping me see that sentence. You're right. They are still having problems. :)

Maggie was an absolute GEM with KT. Never an issue. I'm the one who got the brunt of her personality, and to an extent, Nick did.....although for the last couple of months of us owning her, Nick didn't go near her much.

I'm a cat person. I've figured it out. :) :cat: But I DO wish my parents would get another dog and we could babysit :)

This is what we hiked over:

We do, it's really easy to set up and very easy to work into a budget...It ends up an extra 1/2 payment every 6 months. I think it may be $2/payment more for payments every two weeks through our mortgage company. Although, they take out the payment every two weeks, it's only credited to the mortgage once a month with an extra 1/2 payment credited at the same time (if earned that month...)

I was shooting RAW and I believe it was at iso200. The white balance probably say M since I played with it in Nikon Capture - I do not recall what the original setting was -- i will dig up the NEF file and see what is in there.

I was a really neat hike. We hiked out about 1.5 miles about 4pm. You actually walk over the lava tube that the stream is flowing through. You don't think much of it during the day time except that you can tell the rocks are hotter. At night however, when you walk back over the tube you look down the cracks and see glowing rock only a couple of inches below the surface.

Hiking in also kind of interesting since you are walking out on fresh lava which is like walking on black glass. People get their hands cut badly if they fall or just stumble and try to catch themselves.

It got dark around 7ish and we stayed out untiul almost 10pm. Later in the evening the whole wall of rock broke open and the lava stream was ~50 feet across pouring into the ocean. I will see if I cna dig out a couple more.

I liked this shot do to all of the colors -- especially the blue from the twilight.
Pretty impressive for sure!! I like the colors as well. Last time we were in Maui, didn't get a chance to do that. Went up to the big volcano there (can't recall the name) and did some looking around. We were talking about going back some day soon since we haven't been for 17 years!!! Time flies......

May 25, Jupiter!! It's getting wet time!!!! There is still some openings on the boat!!! :wave2:

If I had not been in school I would have refreshed my certs. and joined you. At one time I was an Asst. Instructer with the YMCA SCUBA program. We had two cardianl rules we taught to all of our divers:

1. Thou shall not POP!

and

2. Thou shall not FIZZ!

ALthough this was in Chicago and I have only done 1 non-wet-suit dive and that was in Cancun awhile back. (Ended up serving as clean-up diver on a resort-course group --"Oh yeah, you come with me and I give you 2 tank dive")

Most of my dives were in quarries and Lake Michigan.

Ok, here we go....need your take on this....am I taking it to personally?
My take;

I think you might be harboring some quilt about getting rid of the dog! I know how you agonized over the decision and how painful it was for you and the family. Frankly, I think you made a good decision for YOUR family, and who cares what some dog breeder thinks.......

Move on! Have fun, you're going on a cruise!!!

This was on the Big Island at Kilauea.

Thx. It's like $2 per transaction for the bi-weekly. $1 per transaction for the weekly. I'll save way more than that in interest by paying that extra payment every year.

Truely words of wisdom!!!

I know the drill, we dive locally in 62° water. I dive in a drysuit! I do like the ocean! So much life and just fun! Actually the waters off California are some of my favorites even if they are colder!

I'm not sure I'm harboring a quilt, but I *may* be harboring some guilt!! :lmao: :lmao: :lmao:

Thx, Kevin. Between the comments I've gotten here, and the support via PM's, I guess I'll let it go (but I'll take some of Mike's happy medicine just for good measure!) :)

Ooops!

Ok, my short term goal for today was to be in bed by 11:00pm.

I failed. :)

But I'm off now....
Nite!!
