:flower1: Good morning cruisers! :flower1:

Happy Monday!

Still raining here but the bad stuff is long gone. Sandi hope all is well down your way.

Maria - sounds like a very tough day for your family. I'm sure your FIL will make a decision that is best for him. I will keep you in my prayers.

Irene - safe travels.

Ah Maria I forget you live in NYC...I am too scared to go there and navigate by mself to a concert....Madison Square Garden..just the name intimidates me.....whacha think?

NYC intimidates me to no end. I'm fine if I'm driving in for a meeting and know exactly where I'm going (thank goodness for GPS!), but to just go in for fun... uh... no. I'm just not familiar enough with the streets to find my way around.

Now, for MSG, I've found a way around that one. I can actually take the train from here straight to Penn Station, which is conveniently located under MSG. Don't even have to go outside! That's where we saw the circus this weekend. THAT I could do on my own. (Oooh... I'm starting to sound brave!)

You have to keep it in the frig!! Where else would you keep it?
Now that you mention it, you do see a lot of ketchup bottles on the tables in restaraunts. And I've been keeping mine in the frig all this time, too...

Good morning everyone!!!
Thank you for all your continued prays and wishes. Only time will tell what direction he wants to take. Personally, I hope he doesn't choose the Chemo. He's going to be 83 in June and it really effected him the 2 sessions he had last time. It's his choice.

Everyone have a great day. Weather in NY is calling for rain in the afternoon. I guess we can kiss that 60-70 degree weather goodbye for a while. Awwww, I was liking it.

Good Morning All - Sandi Glad to hear from you after that scary night. Drive safe Irene. Pixie dust to you Maria.

Good evening guys,

Thanks for all your prayers and PD. Well, today had to be one of the toughest at our house. I took the kids and hightailed out of here so in-laws can be alone. My SIL and DH told dad about the findings in his CT scan. He wasn't too surprised. He said he could "feel" that something wasn't right. They talked about all his options. Now it's just up to him what he wants to do. My SIL takes him to the Doctor's office tomorrow to discuss things. It's just so sad. He will probably go back up to Syracuse with SIL. He said he has been feeling weak and thinks it's best if he's with her. I feel bad for her, too. It's just my SIL and her DH. They don't have any kids, just 2 dogs. But having someone else in your home is a bit disruptive. He's a very luck man to have a daughter as good as her. I can only hope I am that lucky with my sons, but we all know how that goes.

I just wanted to thank you all for your kind words and prayers. I've never met any of you and I feel I know you. Thanks again.

Oh, Maria, I'm so sorry. It sounds like your FIL took the news very well. Actually, it sounds exactly like what happened with my MIL. I took her for the "official" diagnosis, but she pretty much knew what she was going to hear. Your FIL is lucky to have such wonderful children, and it's great that your SIL is going to have him stay with them. That will make a big difference for him. You're right... he's very lucky.

You'll all continue to be in my thoughts...

What great plans,,,,and you will have just as much fun taking time to visit the AKL and stroll around. You can drink more wine that way....Boma is one of our favourite resturants - the African wine is great....and the African flair food is very good...try the hot sauce they offer on the buffet...yummy....and the chicken, super......They have a variety of African style vegies...also intersting, don't tell the kids they are interesting or they won't eat them....Make ressies, it is popular.

This is only the second trip when we WON'T be staying at the AKL. Jim loves Boma's breakfast, so that's why we usually stay there. You're right, though, that it's a fantastic restaurant. Not your typical buffet! Everything is so tasty and unique. We can even usually get Erin to try something new. Jiko is another favorite. Not too many places serve filet mignon with mac and cheese!

I haven't ventured outside, yet, but took the 'after' picture of the barn from the upstairs hall window. Sorry about the size of the 'before' picture. I've resized it in photobucket, but it's not changing?

Wow. You at least got one of those 'microburst' things if not outright tornadic winds for it to move like that. Glad you're all ok. News is reporting 11 gone with all the tornadoes that mess yesterday spawned.

Who said anything about notes?? I have a thesis! HEHE Speaking of ketchup, my DH insists on keeping it in the fridge! My whole life my mother kept it in the cabinet! You know how long it took for me to get used to cold ketchup?!?!?!?:confused3

we keep in in the fridge too...

Doesn't it say refrigerate after opening... :confused3 I've never looked...

I'm not watching anything, thank you. Our satellite is out, I hope not for good. DH has been gone for 2 1/2 hours, now. Must be bad out there. Now there is a tornado watch. Guess I'll go upstairs and watch tv the old-fashioned way, local channels only (known around here as Amish tv).

what local channels? :rotfl2: I spent many a summer week - in rural springfield - stuck in a tiny trailer trying to adjust my grandma's rabbit ears...

Sandi - so sorry to see that damage. At least you guys weren't hurt. That's the important thing.

Samantha, how was the circus? We were supposed to go this year, but time just got away from me and now we'll be sitting in the "blue" seats and that's no fun. Was it David LaReablay(that's phonetic, not the real spelling). Do you know who I mean? He's the ring master. I love him. Tell me all about it.
