OHMinnie, I thought your pic was pretty cool. Is it hard to do? Are you doing that online or is it a package that you bought?

Ang

It wasn't hard to do....at first. I uploaded most of our vacation photos, then downloaded the free program. It installed without incident (something I was afraid of b/c I thought I'd have to ask Mike for help and he'd find out my surprise)

Then I just played around with their settings and made my first mosaic. The first one didn't come out too well b/c I didn't limit the number of times a picture could be repeated (so every other picture in the sky was the same picture!) So I played some more and recreated. And got the picture I posted.

Now, the problem is, I pulled it up in Photoshop Elements and zoomed in, and some of the pictures have been turned 90 degrees. So I have to go through all of my vacation photos and edit them to have the ratio of 4 across and 3 high. Which, at times, means cropping out most of the picture, but I'm cropping out backgrounds for the most part, not people. But, it kinda works, b/c I can take a picture of Mickey and the kids (too tall to crop them together) and make ONE picture of just Mickey's head, and ANOTHER picture of the kids up close.

But again, it gives me a chance to go through my pictures one by one and make sure I'd actually want it on the photomosaic. I want family pictures on there....not necessarily the picture of some lady's feet wearing HORRIBLE shoes in Epcot that I took for badfeet.com! :lmao: :lmao:

VERY quick to do it any ol' way. Time consuming to do it right.

Acutually, I don't want to just steal Mary's birthday wishes for Mark. Seems too easy and impersonal....

So here's my own:

party: :bday: Happy Birthday, Father of Bear :bday: party:
DITTO from your fellow Illinoisans!

Sounds like too much time that I don't have these days. Very cool picture by the way.
