Nuts...it's too small to see it, isn't it? Our names are in the ice cream scoops and on the left it says Double Scoop Group, and on the right it says Castaway Cay.. Times Two...May '06

Cool magnet, I am going to have fun going around to see everyones doors.

Good luck - how many people are you planning? You could beg Pam and Maria to help you with shirts :lmao:

Only kidding - Tarryn would disown you!!!!!! :lmao:

Hopefully not more than 120 including kids, we are doing a joint one with my neice so our family are the same, luckily for me none of my 7 in laws from DH side live here so that doesn't include them, there spouses and children most of which are grown. MIL will be here and that makes up for it!!

I don't like that I can't see the steps as I'm coming down them. Twice now I've thought there was another step and I kept "stepping." I must look like I've got some sort of drinking problem when I try to get around.

I know....I'll move to a ranch home! :)

For some unknown reason this gave me the giggles - I do that coming down from checking the kids upstairs if I have taken my glasses off already!!! :rotfl2: :rotfl2: :rotfl2:

Ok, off for a little exercise and I will check back later.

Just trying to catch up so I can go walk, haven't stopped eating today and never walked yesterday!!! :cool1:

A quick hello before I run DD to swim class. I really like your door mag. Stacey. I tried those contacts last year one eye to see far and the other to see near. Drove me crazy!

bye for now

Oh, wonderful! I got roller blades for my birthday.....even though I ABSOLUTELY did NOT want them. They were forced on me by a family that thought it would be fun to all roller blade together. ER here I come. My biggest fear is I'll hit a small little pebble and go end over end onto the pavement. I have a high pain tolerance, but I do avoid potentially painful activites at all costs!

Next year I'm going to beg the family NOT to give me a week at WDW alone. I ABSOLUTELY do NOT want that....ever! :lmao:

I have rollerblades that I too got for a b'day present about 8 years ago from friends and they have never been outside, they did grace my feet so I could walk on the carpet in them!! I also got a mountain bike from DH 12 years ago while I was pregnant with DD and that has never been ridden either!!

Stacey,

Can I steal your idea for your door magnet? I'm not that creative.

Ang

Sure...obviously, I'm not too creative. The top scoop says "Jay and Stacey"
Next one.."Jared", then "Jordan" then "Amber", Jordan's friend that's coming with us.
Down the left side it says
D
o
u
b
l
e

S
c
o
o
p

G
r
o
u
p

And in the same way, down the right side it says Castaway Cay Times Two!!
With May '06 below that. Pretty simple.
Going to have to use a little more imagination for a second sign.

Maybe use the "Stingrays Are Cute" logo.

Or maybe a sign that says to check the door handle for rubber bands....;) Was that what it was, Tinks????

Do you plug those all in at once?? Two things can share one USB port, ya know!! :lmao:

I have one of the really old machines where the USB ports are in the back. Once they are plugged in, they stay in!!

It's gifts like that that make me look good. :rotfl:

Jay has two Christmases that tie for the "Top Score" in gift giving.
One year he gave me floor mats for my car.
One year he gave me a brown paper bag full of different size batteries.
And people wonder why I now buy my own gifts.
:confused3

This new one has three in front, and I think four or more in the back. And you're right, whatever is plugged into the back, stays plugged in.

The real question is would he do it for Lisa? She needs a laptop for her comute to her new gym to do all her homework on. Although, somehow I don't think Mike is going to be happy that you are volunteering him to work on vacation.

hee hee. no, probably not. i'm not sure he can build a laptop. maybe he can. i know he can change out all of the components to it easily. just don't know if they sell everything a-la-carte like they do for desktops.

coming back to edit....the "no, probably not" was in reference to Mike not being happy that I'm making him work on vacation. It was NOT in reference to "would he do it for Lisa?" :) Didn't want you to think Mike wouldn't do it for Lisa! :)

Ah. I have no idea how many I have in the back. If there is stuff plugged in there I have no idea what it is. I have two in the front of mine. I also have some sort of multi-slot CF card reader...can read any configuration of memory card. And I have two USB ports on my monitor. GREAT for updating my iPod (thanks again, Virgil) :)

?????????????????????????????? I'm afraid to ask what you needed batteries for! Now, if it was a brown paper bag full of batteries AND rubber bands.....then I'd have no NEED to ask!!! :lmao: :rotfl2:
