Mike had to after his eye surgery for his glaucoma and it's so nice to see him get in bed and take off his glasses and be done.....while I'm in the bathroom scrubbing and disenfecting my contacts. Yuck. So I thought I'd give glasses a whirl again. We'll see. These are about 25% of the size of my old old old glasses.
I don't like that I can't see the steps as I'm coming down them. Twice now I've thought there was another step and I kept "stepping." I must look like I've got some sort of drinking problem when I try to get around.
I know....I'll move to a ranch home!![]()

When I want to turn, I move my foot, which moves my boot, which moves my ski. Rental skiis, turn your foot, the boot is too big so all that happens is your foot moves inside your boot, your boot doesn't move, therefore your ski doesn't move. Frustrating.

We were supposed to do a lot of skiing this winter, but DH tore his meniscus in his right knee and that put a kabash on that one.
Hmmmmmm, now that sounds like fun!Juletime said:Are we doing a Dis wine tasting on this trip?
Juletime said:When we first moved back to the states, I thought I would get my DH to go skiing. I planned to first get him up on rollerblades and work up to skiing. The very first outting on the blades we end up taking him to ER and a wrecked knee. I think our vacations will be in warm climates for quite awhile now.![]()
