All of my magnets kept turning upside down or switching positions on the door. Everytime I came out of the room it seemed they were in a different configuration.

Then again, my dad was next door and I think THAT had a lot to do with it!!!

How cute is THAT? My dad wouldn't have even thought about that. You guys must have fun...

Ours were on the ceiling at one point.

We figured it was tall teen boys......

Emily is VERY sad tonight because I'll be leaving GA tomorrow. She's a very sweet girl.

If you need to take a few extra days to say your goodbyes to Emily, not a problem!

Yes there were a couple of tall teen boys who were famous for that. Both of them will be cruising with us. :)

But what about the boy? Did he go?

Yes, he did. He is REALLY a great kid- very well mannered and lots of fun. He even bought her a rhinestone bracelet for her birthday to match the rhinestone necklace that he bought her for Valentine's Day. (insert Elizabeth voice here... "But Mom, he's NOT my boyfriend")

Except I told Elizabeth to make sure that everyone going liked roller coasters (as that's really all there is at BG)... well, he likes roller coasters, as long as they don't go upside down.... all but one of them go upside down.

We did convince him to try one of the small ones (Python) that only has 2 inversions... he did OK on it, and even rode it twice. They all love Gwazi... which doesn't go upside down, as its a traditional wooden coaster... that one jerks you around so much that anyone over the age of 30 leaves it feeling like they got run over by a bus... I went on it once... the rest of them went on it 5 times. Only got to do Sheikra once... the dive coaster... what a great ride!!!

Yeah, it's cute until he comes to your house and you start finding things "wrong." Last time he was here he turned everything upside down that he could (pictures, calendars, etc)

At my sisters house he has been known to hide sugar cubes all over her hours. It took her over a year to find them all!! He also switches the drawers in your kitchen around so you can't find anything.

He's a joy. :) :) And you wonder where I get it from?!?!?!?

Oh, OK, I see. Yea, that would grate on my after a while. Don't fool around with my dishwasher. I'm kinda anal about that one. My neighbors come and re-arrange mine to make me crazy. They think I'm a little over the edge. Guess I am but it's easier to unload if they all correspond to eachother. LOL

Does anybody know the website for Disney tips, etc., I think the guys name was Dave? It has packing lists, advice and tips. Anybody???

You are probably right, I couldn't remember. I don't like too many bags anyway. Gets hard for the pack mule to carry.......

Does that mean the scuba gear stays home, or the clothes stay home? Dont' answer that, I already know...

Hope nobody notices we are wearing the same clothes to dinner every night.

Just checking in. Swim meet was excruciating long this weekend. Kids were only alllowed to swim 3 events per day because it was a trials and finals. So the top 8 kids in each event would swim again in the finals that evening. Anyway, Ashley did well on Saturday nights finals, placing 7th in 50 back, 6 in 200 back and 7 in 100 breast. She was one of only two 11 year olds that placed in the 11-12 age bracket. She also had best times in 2 of those events.

Sunday morning, she qualified again in all 3 events for finals Sunday evening. We never had time to come home, so we were at pool all day. SUnday night she placed 7th in 100 back, 5th in 200 breast and 8 in 100 fly. She had best times in both the breast and fly and was only 2 100ths of a second off of her best in the 100 back. Again, she was one of only a couple of 11 yo's that qualified and she was the highest placed 11 yo in the events she swam. All in all it was a great meet. She was really excited last night, but totally exhausted.

Only 1 more swim meet and the winter season will be over. Thank goodness

Oh, BTW, I was able to get a Palo brunch on Monday, by changing the quantity from 1/2 to 3/4. I think it is because we are linked with another couple and they allowed us to do that. Would not let me book for only 2. Our friends don't want a brunch, so, we have 2 seats available for brunch on Tuesday at 10:30 a.m. Let me know if anyone is intereste.

And how do you pack your wine?

Anyway, our wine collection for the trip is growing and I do not think we can carry it in our hand luggage.

Do you pack your dive camera's or carry them on board as well?

Is it to late to decide we need a few kids to help out?

Don't know if this has been answered or not, but as someone who has a little experience in this, let me tell you how I do it.

I wrap glass bottles in bubble wrap. Those all in either a hard sided suit case or carry on. I have never had any problem with them in side a hard sided suite case. Between the bubble wrap and the clothing it all works out.

Beer in cans go in suit cases. I will put them in a baggie just in case.

For the carry ons, I use the rollers or children. If using children I pack their backpacks so it is easier for them.
