I found out why Jay didn't mind bringing work home to me....he brought work home, too. He'll be prepping invoices for me to write up and mail out. Why does he always prep invoices when I'm getting ready to go out of town???

Stacey, Will have to take a picture of the fire ring my dad brought down for us today....

long story short, he traded a custom made wine rack for a fire ring. welded by my BIL's cousin who has a big old welding shop in eastern Ohio somewhere. said he can make nearly anything out of metal.

but can't take the picture at night....or in the cold!

I wasn't around to pirate anything today. Blood donation. Then my parents were here when we got back. Entertained them. Got my fire ring. And a new custom built wine rack for my basement. And then we went out for a big old steak dinner to replenish my RBC's!

Thanks for the pd and prayers. I did do as well as Mrs.Irene posted. I am currently 4 in the state. I have to wait for a call from my coach tommorrow to see if I made it or not. I'm 4 out of 102 that get to go to regionals. Out of 250 people who quilified for state.

Having an incredibly lazy day and enjoying it - It's mid 80s and very humid - I'm debating if I should throw on the air conditioning - I'm resisting on the principle - it's March...I try to hold out until at least mid April if I can - but, every year my tolerance gets lower and lower and the air goes on sooner and sooner and the electric bills go higher and higher.

Just finished watching Hotel Rwanda - all I can say is WOW! Not your average lazy Saturday morning film - but, it was incredible... Now to get some work done - my parents are flying in Tuesday for the week.

Maybe I'll put in more of the 1st season of Moonlighting while I'm working- uplifting my spirits a bit after Hotel Rwanda.

Monica -- Ashley is watching Hotel Rwanda in school. I had to sign a permission slip to allow it, because they are doing some study on that in Social Studies. She comes home telling me about it each day. I really need to rent and watch.

My neighbor was out in the woods between our houses just b4 dark, looking for a shoe her dog carried off. We startled each other, being quiet thinking we were deer. Should have known better since neither dog was barking. Had a good laugh.

Cool! I can't wait to see it, and will have to show it to Jay, too. We've made quite a few of those. One for our cabin, too.

Actually almost anything can be made out of steel. We've even made a few headstones.

We have lots of laughs, calling each other "Do you hear that?", "Did you smell skunk?". She is a single mom with a 12yo daughter and I am on my own with Jeanne. And our dogs get along, mostly.
