Irene, I thought of you tonight. The beers of the month for March were Harp, Bass & Smithwicks. I may have the Harp & Bass wrong ... it may have been Guinness thrown in there somewhere. But, I did see Smithwicks & thought of you. Thought of trying one but I'm fighting a cold & didn't want the alcohol to bring me down.

I know we're focused on # 30,000 but we are also near a milestone page!
I think the 30,000th post might come on the 2000th page, but I'm not sure that it will be a top. That would be cool, wouldn't it?

Okay, I re-did my math. I think the 30,000th post will be the last post on page 2000, definitely not the first post, but it could be the first post on page 2001. This isn't an exact science you know.

So if you can't decide on a plate you can get one that is a collage of a few :lmao:

Or you could get a college plate - maybe OSU!

HA HA HA. I was typing those fast b/c I was going out the door to get my blood sucked out of me....and they didn't have copy and paste...so I REALLY had to hurry!!

Good catch!! :lmao:

That "$65" goes to the various organizations??? Do you see many of them around? In Georgia, our Organization plates are only $25 additional for the organizations, which seems puny in comparison to Texas, but they are big sellers. We supported Wildlife and Dog/Cat Sterilization, hoping that's where our $$$ would go. :confused3

Everything is bigger in Texas!!!! :lmao:

I don't think I will make it to the milestone. Spent a good part of the day loading old paving stones into my car and then unloading at my house. My sister (moved to Pa and her house is for sale) has her driveway lined with the old pavers. Just found out they are the cobblestones from downtown Baltimore streets in the 1800's. Well , since the house will soon be sold I had better get some pavers to put in my yard. I didn't realize the darn things weigh about 20 lbs!

QUESTION - so can we donate blood for GaRRY? Even if it is not the correct type, I recall that they may take it? Anyway, we could start our own drive for WHEN he has the surgery.....?????

????Vicki?????

Not if his surgery is after the cruise. They confirmed for me today that Costa Maya gets a one year deferrment even if you don't get off the ship. Cozumel is OK, as long as "you don't go on one of those excursions with a long bus ride to see the ruins."

So after May I'm done for a year.

Besides, I'd think that gaRry would need the blood NOW as the surgery will come up without a lot of notice.

Stacey, you better stop talking about Virgil's "thing". :lmao: Vicki might get jealous.

I'm O- but I have such wierd veins they have to use a very thin needle to get any blood out of me!
