DS actually cleaned his room today under threat of me going through it with the Hefty method. I told him to fold his underwear and put it away. He said 'but isn't that a woman's job' . After I stopped laughing and explained that it was HIS underwear and HIS job, he told me he didn't like to do it. Boy did I feel sorry for him...NOT. Kinda like the time that he told me he was out of clean something and that I HAD to do laundry. That was the day that he learned how to run the washing machine .

FOLD underwear? Not anymore...esp for the kids. After I put FOLDED underwear in their drawer and they dig around looking for their favorite pair of socks.....and the underwear becomes unfolded....it's futile.

DS informed me the other day that 'all the other 5th graders' had cell phones and when could he get one. Of course my reaction was predictible...

Oh, I don't expect it to stay folded, but at least it's going to start out that way. I gave up with having him match his socks. I know that's not going to happen.

He just called again and Aub told him that he cannot call this late at night!!
I told Aub he cannot be rude but she is only 11 and I don't need boys calling her at all never mind the time!!!

We just had the "no calls before 9AM or after 9PM" discussion this morning!!!!! There's only one boy that calls Elizabeth (every 90 seconds or so), but her girlfriends call constantly, too. We went to WDW yesterday, and the same girl called 13 times while we were gone!!! (and she KNEW we were going...)

She hasn't improved her grades enough to earn her cell phone... which may be a blessing in disguise!!

We never did make it to Fantasmic! last night, but had a great day.

Hit AK in the AM... Everest was great!!! It was better than I thought it would be- Elizabeth loved it too... Christopher & Ray aren't coaster fans, so they skipped it. We got FP's, but immediately got in line and made it through in about 1/2 hour... by the time we got off the ride, the standby line was ridiculous.

Headed over to MGM after lunch- I have never seen it so packed!!!! Insane. 110 minute wait for RNR & TOT... FP's were running about 4 hours later... decided to head out of the park for dinner, and back home at a reasonable hour. Besides... 13 hours was a long time for the dog to be home alone without going out!

Actually, I've been gathering all the graphics we've been using with the purpose to make a page of stuff to make doorsigns, etc with. Going to actually be home a good bit today, might have something together shortly.

Thanks, I bought some dis color caps and wanted to put the design on them but needed the wording in black so it would show up.

My 5th grader was told when she has a job and can pay the bill she can have one if that is what she wants to waste her money on, in themean time she has a phone in her room and that was it, she hasn't nagged again!!!
