Nah...I had the two girls first. Even with them (at that age anyway) it's still kind of cute.

Well, that's nice rationalization, but we all know the real reason is that you know you'd have too much to catch up on here if you were gone for 10 days!!!!

Another good point. But I'm going to have the same problem in September, and again on the shorter Christmas cruise....... Thank goodness they have internet on the ships!

BTW....did you SEE how long it took me to catch up? You guys did an amazing job of blabbering without me!

Mark, do you mind if I try take the signature design and change the lettering to black, do you remember which font you used for the rounded writing and I can imagine that is going togive me a hard time especially that I have no patience!!!

I posted this on the 10 night Christmas/holiday thread. Would appreciate your input also.

'I have been looking at WDW resort prices for our pre cruise stay. I think we are going with the value resort, $600 less for 3 nights and 2 day park hopper than the cabins in Ft Wilderness. Mom and I want to do dinner, CP and Illuminations one night and MVMCP another. Also I hope I can get reservations for the Hoop De Do so we won't be in our room (or cabin) much at all. Any really big plusses or minuses for the value resorts?'

Sue, we stay at value resorts if there is not a deal at any other resort. In fact we will be at one in a few weeks.

We have found that all the new hotels, value or moderate, are just about the same size so you are not giving up any room size. I'm not sure about the other features, because we normally stay just one night.

We like Port Orleans, Alligator side. It is a moderate, older hotel so the rooms are bigger, not as many rooms in each building, hotel is spread out a little nicer. Sometimes we have been able to get a deal on this one.

I noticed how here grades dropped as soon as she became the social butterfly and now is nagging to go to the middle school with all her friends but if she gets in to the school she is wait listed for she will not have any of her friends there!!!

By the way, DS did get a first for his solo yesterday (insert proud parent smilie here). I hope that will encourage him to enter again next year .

DS actually cleaned his room today under threat of me going through it with the Hefty method. I told him to fold his underwear and put it away. He said 'but isn't that a woman's job' . After I stopped laughing and explained that it was HIS underwear and HIS job, he told me he didn't like to do it. Boy did I feel sorry for him...NOT. Kinda like the time that he told me he was out of clean something and that I HAD to do laundry. That was the day that he learned how to run the washing machine .

Since DS starting doing his own laundry I think he stopped wearing underwear. It was just to much work to wash and put it on the floor.

Jared is just about at that point. But he's pretty smart....he learned not to complain, because he knows what the alternative is.

Too funny, I'm sure mine would be the same and here I was thinking I was the only lucky parent who's kids thought the floor was an extention of the laundry room and closet!!! DD and I had the talk earlier about putting the clothes down the shoot instead of on the floor and then I can wash them!!!!

Matt and I changed the oil pump and oil sensor on his Jeep this weekend because 0 oil pressure. Still no oil pressure.

Who can come over an fix it for me?

I was reading Cruise Critic last night, looking at alternatives to Tulum, since the Norwegian concierge told me it was still closed.
There was a trip report on there from a family who went to Tulum this week! Go figure.
